The mood of the room instantly became somber at the latest revelation. Lorne's body was essentially ripped apart by bullet holes.
"He was going to stay inside Caritas," Connor rasped. "Why didn't the sanctuary spell work?"
Angel swallowed a lump in his throat before answering, "The shots could have come from outside. Holtz attacked us in a similar manner the night you were born."
Connor looked at his father wide eyed for a moment while that swam around inside his head with his other thoughts, then turned his attention back to Lorne. "This is my fault."
"Connor..." Salome said apologetically, implying that he was being too hard on himself.
"I should have made sure to include him in our plan," he continued, shaking his head. "He should have been with one of us."
"This isn't your fault or any of ours," Jamie said. "We aren't the ones who did this."
The room became quiet again. Only Oni was openly crying, though a couple of the others had let a tear or two fall, but it was easy to tell that everyone felt the same on the inside.
During the silence, Andrew felt a little woozy and started to lose his balance, but Connor caught him before he fell.
Angel noticed the bruises forming on Andrew's head. Then his eyes were drawn to the blood seeping through Connor's shirt. "Are you two okay? Maybe you should let Macayle--"
"I'm fine," Connor insisted as he followed Angel's eyes to the stain. He hadn't realized he was injured and he certainly didn't feel it now.
"Connor..." Angel started, worried.
"Okay," he agreed, knowing that this wasn't a time for a petty argument. "Come on, Andrew."
As Connor helped Andrew make his way to the infirmary, he wasn't even aware if anyone else was coming with him or not. All his mind could focus on was that he broke his vow to not lose anyone else.

Andrew sat patiently as Macayle examined his head as Willow was examining Connor's dislocated arm. "Not that I don't appreciate the help Willow, but how did you know we were in trouble enough to get us out of there," Andrew asked.
Willow and Angel shared a nervous look before replying, "I didn't...know you we in trouble. You just showed up."
Angel asked, "Just what kind of trouble are you guys in?"

Buffy and Faith were at the opposite end of the building training some of the newer slayers when they heard a chorus of voices shout: "WHAT!?"
* * * * * * * *
"Are you sure?" Willow asked.
"This is bad," Angel replied.
"And funny," Macayle responded. She received a deadly look from Connor and amended, "Or not."
"A government conspiracy that has so far resulted in a dead body and will most likely result in more if we don't do something," Andrew said in an unusually serious voice.
A scream echoed throughout the Council "Salome!" Connor yelled recognizing the voice and jumping to his feet followed closely by his father and Willow.
In the corridor they ran into Jamie and Oni. "We've got trouble," Jamie said.
"Salome has informed us that an you are about to do violence," Oni continued.
"They found us," Salome whispered joining the group.

The president won't like this," the mayor said to the governor. "It's been tried once before."
"Not on The Destroyer it hasn't."
"If it didn't work on his father, what makes you think it will work on him."
"The Destroyer would never admit it but, he cares. It will be his downfall."
* * * * * * * *
The gang was in the infirmary, preparing for battle. Gathering weapons and taking on fighting stances for anything that might eventually come through that door. It was all being done in silence. The only sounds that could be heard were coming from the chaos between the slayers and government.
A bright white light filled the room. It streamed in from outside. The fighting changed to screams of horror and torment, which eventually led to complete and total silence.
"What was that?" Andrew asked.
Willow looked about to speak, then closed her mouth unsure herself.
Angel motioned for everyone to stay put and took a step toward the door when it opened and in stepped Darla.
Connor, Willow, Angel and Andrew were shocked.
Oni just asked, "Who is she?"
The Judge strode purposely through the door. He raised his hand at Connor to shoot his blue lightning from it when Darla put her hand on his chest and in a light display that would impress Tokyo, The Judge was incinerated.
"Nobody messes with my son."

"Darla?" Angel asked in surprise.
"Mom?" Connor asked in wonder and a little hope.
With everyone in the room staring at Connor, Darla only had eyes for Connor, "My sweet boy," she said lovingly.
Generally Connor hated being called that, however, coming out of his mother, his beautiful mother, it sounded like...enough of that. He needed to be The Destroyer. He grabbed this...thing by the throat, "What's going on? Who are you? What do you want with me?"
"Connor!?" Everyone yelled, some in shock, some in an order to let her go. Her dropped her to the ground.
"You didn't believe me two years ago either and look what ended up happening. Do you really want to end up in that kind of position again." She vanished and reappeared behind Macayle. "Not that it would be that easy to kill a messenger of the Powers."
* * * * * * * *
You did what!?" The President yelled.
"We brought back Darla," the Governor said getting nervous. This wasn't the reaction he expected. And now he was wishing he hadn't of sent the mayor out on an errand. He wasn't here to blame.
"Why?" The president asked in a dangerously low tone.
"To turn Connor. We figured it almost worked with Angel maybe it will with Connor."
"The problem is Darla no longer plays for our team anymore!?" The president exploded with even more rage than before. Calming down he said, "The good news is I found them and sent a full on assault to the Watchers Council in Oxford. With any luck everyone there will be dead and The Destroyer will be so distraught he be ripened for..."
"...the dark side," the mayor finished coming through the door.
* * * * * * * *
"How can we be so sure you're Darla?" Willow asked.
"It's her," Connor replied with his head bowed remembering two years ago and last year when The First masqueraded as Anna.
"Baby," he looked up into his mother's brown eyes and saw love. Pure love. "It's O.K. No one here blames you for her death. Jasmine was at fault.
The door was once again thrown open. Oni, Jamie, Andrew and Macayle came out of the shock the had seemed to be in and screamed. Not a high pitch or long scream but a that scared me, don't do it again scream.
Buffy, Faith, Kennedy, Vi, Amanda, Rona and Chao-Ahn are the ones on the other side of the door. "What the hell is going on?" Buffy asked.

"I repeat what the Hell is going on? Why is she here?" Buffy asked pointing to Darla. The last time Buffy had seen here it was in the Bronze when she was trying to shoot her. "And who are the rest of these people?" She turned on Angel as she said this with fury in her eyes.
Macayle had had enough. "You know, why don't Andrew, Oni, Jamie, Salome and I just give you guys some time to talk. All the other slayers too."
Before they could even start to leave Buffy's anger rose and she shouted, "No one's going anywhere."
Several things happened at once. Darla and Angel vamped out. Salome turned into her demon self, (she tried hard not to be purple in this place because she was still edgy around the slayers), and Connor pulled a stake out of his jacket.
"Buffy," Angel said very slowly and deliberately sounding like Angelus. The only people who should be in this room right now are you, me, Darla, Connor and Salome."
Buffy stepped away from the door and the room emptied from everyone except those five people. Everyone relaxed. Once everyone was out Buffy repeated for the third time, "What...the Hell...is going on?"
Salome held Connor's hand. He relaxed. He had wanted to attack Buffy the second she walked through the door. Here she was. Buffy. The infamous slayer. This tiny girl and all she could do was order people around about information she didn't have any right of knowing.
"Why are we worrying about her and what she knows. She has no right?" Connor asked, still not a hundred percent calm. He also had never told anyone this story. Not even his friends. Why should his dad's ex know.
"You, me and her specifically play the key roles in the next part of The Nyazian Prophecies.
"In the what?" Buffy asked with controlled anger in her eyes. "And who the Hell is he and how the Hell are you alive? I want answers." She was still trying to understand why she hadn't attacked at first sight.
Darla looked at Buffy and started to speak when Angel interrupted her, "No. I need to tell it." He took a deep breath, "About five years ago, Darla was brought back to life by Wolfram and Hart. As a human. She messed with my mind as were Wolfram and Hart instructions." Darla looked down in shame. Buffy just glared. "When she eventually felt guilty Wolfram and Hart told her she was dying. I went through some trials to save her. Ultimately they wouldn't save her but Drusilla ended up turning her. It messed me up. I fired the gang and hunted them down. I got as close to Angelus without becoming Angelus. I scared both the good guys and the bad guys. Then one night I had an epiphany."
Both Darla and Connor snorted. Darla said, "Is that what you called it."
"Eight and a half months later she showed up back at the hotel pregnant." Buffy's eyes bugged out of their eye sockets.
"So what is he?" She asked eying Connor wearily.
"My son is human!?"
"Around the time he was born, a man who had come from the future to kill me. Darla and I had centuries earlier murdered his family and he swore vengeance. He got it. He kidnapped Connor and fled to a Hell dimension called Quortoth."
Salome kept a straight face but secretly she was fascinated. Although at the mention of Quortoth she squeezed Connor's hand in comfort.
"When he came back he was confused about everything. He'd been raised in a place where you either kill or be killed.
"Being a vampire Darla had to kill herself so that Connor could live and when Cordelia got taken over by a demon she used Connor's Confusion and insecurity to make him go near the edge of madness. At the time the only choice I felt I had was to ask Wolfram and Hart to erase Connor's memories and give him a new life in exchange for working there. Although secretly I would be trying to take it down from the inside. He became a client and The Big Bad he recently fought gave him his memories back."
After a beat of silence Buffy replied, "That's a nice Reader's Digest version of events, but what does that have to do with this Nigian Prophecy?"

"Nyazian Prophesy," Connor replied icily.
"Bite your tongue Dead Boy Clone." Buffy said.
Before Connor, Angel and Salome could speak Darla had her vamp face on and had Buffy pinned to the wall. "Talk to my son civilly or I'll go against The Powers wishes and do what I started with those guns and this time I don't think Angel will help you." Buffy looked helplessly at Angel as she struggled for breath. He looked at her with anger and a little bit of sadness.
"Mom," Connor said quietly, "Please put her down.
Darla dropped her to the floor. As she gasped for air she said, "I can't believe you're a key member of a prophesy.
"Can you please tell us about this prophesy you're all suppose to be apart of."
"And who are you?" Buffy asked.
"I'm the only reason The Destroyer, also known as Connor Angel and my boyfriend, haven't kicked your ass all the way back to the crater you still call Sunny dale, and the only reason his parents haven't done more than they already have."
"There was said to be no birth and yet Connor exists. I staked myself and Connor was made flesh. It has a nice Macbeth twist to it don't you think. The Destroyer was said to kill Sahjahn," she turned and smiled at him, "And my sweet Boy did. It was also written that a Hellmouth would open in Palo Alto and My Sweet Boy would bring the person responsible down. Again he triumphed. Now it says and I quote, "'He who Destroys,' Capital letter on the destroys, 'and she who saved and caused destruction and born to be great along with she who sacrificed herself for Greatness,' Greatness is also capitalized, 'must be allied in force to stop beastly things to come."
"Cryptic. But not even Giles or Wesley can get it that word perfect. What's up?" Buffy asked with suspicion.
"She works for The Powers now."
After a moment, Buffy decided to just let it go and accept it. "Okay, so what does it mean?
"He who Destroys is Connor. She who saved and caused destruction is you." Buffy looked ready to argue so Darla continued, "You've saved the world, but you've also come back from the dead which set up The First to try to kill off the slayer line and destroying the Hellmouth only nearly destroyed the world again unfortunately. It is why the Palo Alto one was created. Sacrificed herself for Greatness is me." Again Buffy looked ready to argue, "The Nyazians looked at The Destroyer, my son, as a hero. They worshiped him. I sacrificed myself so he could live."
After a few minutes of silence. Buffy sighed as if in defeat and said, "All right Connor, Darla, let's save the world.
"From the doorway Giles voice said, "The earth is," he let out a sigh and finished, "Doomed."

"Yes." The Governor was on the phone. "Are you sure? All right. Uh huh. I'll tell him. Thank you." He looked into the expectant faces of the president and the mayor. "Only one man made it out alive," he whispered.
"Only one man!?" The president exploded. "I sent over five hundred people! Demons and humans! How could anyone, even The Destroyer, tear down that many!?"
"It wasn't The Destroyer," The Governor slunk back, "It was Darla." He closed his eyes and waited for his punishment.
* * * * * * * *
Two groups waited in the hallway outside the infirmary. One consisted of Salome, Andrew, Jamie and Oni while the other one consisted of Faith, Kennedy, Willow, Vi and Amanda.
Salome had been assured by Connor, Angel, Darla, Giles and even a reluctant Buffy that there would be no violence so she left and vacated into the hallway. As for Macayle, she didn't want to be any part of this and disappeared into her quarters. Rona had reluctantly taken Chao-Ahn back to the training room under Faith's orders because Chao-Ahn still didn't know quite enough English to understand what was going on. Rona was to be her babysitter for use of a better word.
Salome was anxious. She didn't like the thought that Buffy was in the same room with Connor. Buffy as well as all slayers were too unpredictable and Connor although a great fighter couldn't take on a slayer.
Something caught Salome's attention. It came out of the corner of her eye. No. It was impossible.
* * * * * * * *
Faith watched the group from Palo Alto. The girl with the purple hair intrigued her. She had seen enough before getting kicked out of the infirmary to know her and...Connor, if she remembered the kid's name right-the memories were still fuzzy-were getting it on. One of the stronger memories was of Connor lusting after her, which was odd considering she didn't have a single memory of being nice to him and considering she seemed to remember him being somewhat anti demon. Her curiosity was peaked.
"You a demon?" she asked Salome.
"Yeah." Salome replied once again turning purple, preparing for a fight.
"Whoa, ease up. Not looking for a fight. You going with Angel's kid?" Salome nodded. "I met him before the spell. The memory spell Angel placed on everyone. So I was just curious."
"About?" Salome asked lowering her guard but not by much.
"How a demon got The Destroyer to like her. Even with the spell it couldn't have been easy. Plus from what I was told about Cordelia I'm surprised he even gave me a solitary look, let alone got as turned on by me." Salome's face dropped a little. Faith saw this and knew without meaning to she had probably caused more trouble than she meant to. "But it was likely just teenage hormones at work. Ya know what? I'm gonna shut up."
Faith walked back over to Willow and silently asked her "Why do I always screw things up?"
Willow put her hand on Faith's shoulder comfortingly.
* * * * * * * *
"We know me, Connor and Darla are part of the prophecy. But what does, "Beastly things to come," mean?" Buffy asked Giles.
"Isn't it obvious?" Angel replied. "It's referring to the Government conspiracy my son is facing."
Buffy and Giles were both shocked before Buffy said, "I think you guys have been spending too much time with Andrew. And what are you still doing here anyway?"
Darla answered this one for Angel. "Salome may have considered you a non-threat, but I will never trust you around my son. Prophecy or not."
Again Giles said, "The earth is," this time sighing the word definitely, "doomed."
Buffy, Angel, nor Darla heard him above their yelling and arguing.

Connor didn't need all the commotion. What he really wanted was some time alone with his parents, but that didn't seem plausible at the moment. Instead, with everyone in the room oblivious to his presence, he simply left and shut the door with a loud sigh.
"Is everything all right?" Andrew asked.
"I don't know anymore," Connor answered.
"Uh, Connor?" Salome stepped forward. "I need to talk to you." She snuck a peak at the Palo Alto gang before quickly turning her eyes back to Connor urgently.
Connor nodded, then motioned for her to follow him. She did and they disappeared down the corridor.
"Man, I could use one of those," Faith muttered.
"What's that?" Willow questioned.
"A quick roll in the hay."
Willow cheeks suddenly became red. "I don't think that's what they're going to do."
"Whatever," Faith shrugged. "I could still use one."
From the other side of the hallway, Jamie was visibly swooning.
"What is so appealing about rolling in hay?" Oni asked, confused.
* * * * * * * *
The President sat alone, reflecting on the punishment he had handed out to the Governor. It was especially gruesome. A definite reminder to his subordinates that all plans should be ran through him before taking action. There was a reason Fredrick Prescott was leader of both the Board and the country. No, Governor Konkel will not enjoy the special guest appearance he’ll be making at the Children's Hospital tomorrow. Konkel hated kids, germs, and having to wear that fake smile all politicians needed in public.
The sudden ringing of the phone broke President Prescott's train of thought. Looking at the caller ID almost caused his heart to stop. With his wide eyes focused on the mystical symbols on the phone's display, the President swallowed a lump in his throat and picked up the phone with a shaking hand.
"Mr. Suvarta. I didn't expect to hear from you." Prescott winced as if he was receiving a tongue lashing even though there was no audible noise coming through the speakers. "Yes, sir. I promise you the Board will be more careful with the resources your firm has given us."
* * * * * * * *
Connor and Salome stepped into an empty room and closed the door.
"What's wrong?" Connor asked.
"It might be nothing, but..." Salome trailed off.
Taking her hands, Connor said, "You can tell me."
Salome took a deep breath. "I was standing in the hallway with the others when out of the corner of my eye I saw..."
"What?"
"Jules. I saw Jules."
If Connor's knees could have become any weaker today, they would have.
"I think." Salome shook her head. "I don't know. It's been a long day and my eyes could have been playing tricks on me. Maybe it was just one of the Slayers."
"But you think it was her?"
"Yeah. I wanted to say something right away, but, you know, Jamie. So then I was going to check it out, but I thought that maybe it was some sort of trap. It was a test of my patience, but I decided to wait for you."
"Because I haven't led us into enough of those lately," Connor frowned. "But you're right, we need to check it out."

"That felt wonderful," Faith told Robin as she threaded her belt through the belt loop of her jeans.
"Yes id did," Robin Wood replied matching Faith's smile as he lay in the bed naked. "You can wake me up like that anytime you want."
"I need to get back. You keep resting. The last couple of weeks have been Hell on you and you're not a slayer." As she walked out of the room all she could think about was how grateful she was he wasn't in that last battle.
She never saw Oni who was standing by Faith's door and whispered, "So that's what rolling in the hay is."
* * * * * * * *
Willow walked out of her bedroom with Kennedy trailing close behind, both of them adjusting each others clothes.
"I have to admit Faith has some wonderful ideas sometimes," Kennedy said.
Willow just grinned.
* * * * * * * *
Angel, Darla, Connor and Salome were walking down a corridor. Connor had filled his parents in on what they suspected. When they started to explain, Darla turned to Angel and explained it to him. Apparently being as high up as she was had its advantages. "Don't worry My Sweet Boy," she said.
"I thought that's what Jasmine called you Connor. Didn't you say you hated that name for just that reason," his girlfriend asked.
Darla responded, defending herself, "That's why I'm doing it. I'm trying to see if I can change the memory. Make the name Sweet Boy a happy memory."
Connor smiled. "It's working."
They walked a little further. Suddenly Rona rounded the corner and literally ran into Connor.
"Can you point me in Faith's direction? I need to ask her a question."
Salome and Connor stared. Darla hissed and muttered, "Why don't they tell me everything? Angel was just confused.
"But...but...but...you...you...you...died. We saw it." Suddenly two thoughts entered Salome's head. The slayers entering the infirmary. Nobody had noticed because everyone had been too stunned by Darla's reappearance. And a fog of some sort seemed to lift. The person she had seen was short, had black hair and dark skin. Rona.
What was going on?

"Super Boy's freaky mother come back from the dead and within minutes everyones cool, but if I do the same thing everyone has a snit," Rona said.
Darla glowed brightly. Bright enough to bring Buffy, Faith, Oni and Giles running down the hall to see what the problem was.
"Mom!" Connor yelled in worry.
The glow faded down until it was gone.
With lightning fast reflexes Darla reached into the waistband of her son's pants pulled out the stake hidden there and thrust it into Rona chest. Rona morphed into a vampire before bursting into dust.
"We're in the Watcher's Council with a bunch of Slayers, vampires, demons and demon hunters and nobody sensed that she was a vampire?" Darla asked. Everyone was still too shocked to answer her question. "If it weren't for The Powers giving me that information who knows what would've happened."
"But how..." Faith asked. She was wondering how she couldn't sense she was a vampire.
"Was she even alive?" Connor asked.
"I just visited her grave a couple of days ago," Oni replied.
"What!?" Buffy and Faith replied in unison. "Why didn't anyone tell us?" Buffy asked with confusion and anger.
Connor ignoring the slayer turned to his mother who was being stared at by everyone, he took Salome's hand and asked again, "Why was she even alive?"
* * * * * * * *
President Prescott stepped out of his office to face Governor Konkel and Mayor Norquist. "That was Mr. Suvarta at Wolfram and Hart. Your plan to bring back Darla had a little backfire. It brought back the slayer in the form of a vampire." He watched them gulp in fright. "Darla took care of her, however Mr. Suvarta doesn't want any more problems. Turning the Destroyer is our main priority. That's it. Get to work."
* * * * * * * *
Tucker Wells hung up the phone and smiled. Things weren't going exactly as planned. But they weren't off track too much. The President still thought he was Mr. Suvarta from Wolfram and Hart and Andrew still didn't know he was the one being everything. Oh, Andrew was going to pay. He took away his toy and humiliated him and made him lose a huge bounty and so was Wolfram and Hart. The cut off his funding. He was no longer a client. The were paying now though. He had control of the president and his pals, who was doing evil things to Connor and his friends. In the end everything would play out just as he wanted it to.

"I think we should start worrying about that prophecy before anything else dreadful happens," Giles said.
It was the one thing that Darla and Buffy would agree on for quite a while. Connor-surprisingly-was the one out of the three key players in the upcoming prophecy that had to be the peacemaker.
"While you guys are at that I'll start training the girls for end-of-the-world-apocalypse type fighting," Faith said.

Before Faith could even take a step, Darla shut her eyes and started to wobble.
Connor grabbed her shoulders to keep her from falling. "Are you okay?" he asked worriedly.
"I'm fine," Darla answered as she regained her bearings. "But it looks like we may have to worry about the prophecy while something else dreadful happens."
"What is it, Mom?"
"All I know is that we're needed in Palo Alto."
Macayle came running down the hall. "Sorry to interrupt, but I might have something for you to look into."
"Go ahead," Giles said.
Macayle took a moment to catch her breath before starting. "I was listening to the news and there have been recent reports of 'wild animal' attacks at Florence Park. It could be nothing, but..."
"It probably isn't," Buffy finished, sighing. Turning her attention to Darla she asked, "Is this incident at the park a part of the 'beastly things to come'?"
Darla shook her head. "I don't think so. I didn't see anything about that."
"Looks like I'll be taking the girls out for some boring ol' everyday type fighting then," Faith said as she headed off to gather her weapons and warriors.
"Be careful with them, Faith," Buffy said in a reprimanding tone.
Faith turned to a backpedal and gave Buffy a mock salute before disappearing down another corridor.
Buffy frowned at that before getting back to business. "All right, with Faith holding down the fort here, the rest of us should get going. I assume you're going to take care of that." The last sentence was directed at Darla.
"It would be easiest."
Another glow filled the hallway. After a moment, the glow disappeared and so did the hall's inhabitants.

The glowing stopped. The gang (which made up of Darla, Angel, Buffy, Giles, Connor, Salome, Andrew, Macayle, Jamie, Oni and Willow), everybody except Darla was temporary blinded. What Darla saw stunned her, "Oh no." She whispered.
"What's wrong mom?" Connor asked as he and his father regained their eyesight and took their first look around. "Oh shit!" Neither parent scolded him for his language.
"Connor?" Salome asked worried as she regained her eyesight next. "What happened?"
As the rest of the group regained their eyesight, they took a look around and they too didn't like what they saw.
President Prescott, Governor Konkel and Mayor Norquist were holding guns. They were surrounded by a large group of Turok-Han's
"Oh my God!" Giles and Andrew whispered together as Giles took off his glasses and began to clean them.
Both sides stood still doing nothing for long moments. Macayle's cell phone interrupted the silence, but didn't break the tension. After five rings the president was the one who asked, Are you going to get that? The noise is giving me a headache."
Macayle reached into her pocket, pulled the plastic device out and answered it. If possible, her face clouded even more. She hung up and leaned in to whisper into Giles' ear. Darla heard every word. "Robin Wood is dead. Faith is...well...she's not fit to be in a battle at the moment. A vampire drained her nearly dry after she was forced to watch his neck being broken."
"Why was he there? I thought he was resting after the last battle?" Giles whispered back.
"He insisted on going," Macayle whispered, "We're both needed. It was a massacre."
Darla didn't wait for the med-student to say anything else. With a wave of her hand her and Giles vanished. This time there was no blinding light.

Giles and Macayle arrived and immediately got to work. Robin Wood was laying on a gurney, dead. His head bent at an awkward angle. Faith was up and sitting on her knees next to Robin, crying into his chest.
"What happened?" Macayle asked, working around Faith as she checked Wood's vitals, she learned her first day on the job not to cross a slayer no matter what state they were in. "I thought you said Faith got drained." Giles in the meantime went over to Faith's side to try and sooth her.
"We gave her a transfusion." The on-call nurse replied. Since then she's been kneeling over the body.
Giles had been successful at getting Faith to calm down but at the nurse's last two words, she burst into tears all over again.
* * * * * * * *
Darla looked at the group, then at the president, who was surrounded by his two cohorts and group of about one hundred turuk-hans. I never realized an office could be this big. Then she realized where they were for the first time. The oval office. How on earth did we get here? I did mean to transport us here.
"Remind me again," Jamie asked, "How many of you have fought these things?" Buffy and Andrew were the only two to raise their hands. "Great." he muttered.
"Attack!" The president yelled as he fired off two shots.
The fight was on.
* * * * * * * *
Tucker Wells sat in his secret lair. His plan was finally coming together. Even if Connor didn't lose friends in this battle. He would be turned eventually. And as a bonus his brother would pay for ruining his chance to sleep with Sanguine.

"The White House began construction on October 13, 1792. The first president to live their was John Adams. It is constructed with white-painted aquia sandstone. It was built in the Georgian architectural style. President James Munroe had to rebuild when in the year 1814, the War of 1812 caused a fire that tore through the mansion." The tour guide was showing a group the tour from outside the mansion. Just before this tour started, she got a call from her boss saying that the President gave direct orders to have no tours inside for the next week and no tours at all tomorrow. She had frowned at this news not understanding what at this time could cause the president to want this that wouldn't be in the news.

Inside the Oval Office, the Turok-Han's were actual holding their own, or so the President thought. He got worried when Willow Rosenberg rose into the air, her hair transforming into brilliant glowing white. A small glowing yellow ball was created in her hand. As it started expanding, it rose into the air. It was a miniature sun. The Turok-Han's tried to hide but all of them burst into flames.
The President smiled.
What Willow had failed to remember was that two of the good guys were vampires. The destroyer was going to kill her.

"With everything were going through. A nerd's dream of a government conspiracy and he gets taken out by Hellhounds." Faith doesn't say this as much as she sobs it. She and Giles were standing in the hallway outside the Slayer Council emergency room.
"Hellhounds you say." Giles is glad to be discussing something because seeing Faith acting in such a manner is unusual and is making him uncomfortable.
"Yeah, why?"
"Because they have to be trained to do whatever they do. During Buffy's prom a boy trained them to attack people only wearing nice clothes.
"So someone trained this thing to kill my boyfriend?" A determined look flashes across her face. "This could be related to the conspiracy."
"Faith. Now we don't know that for sure."
"But we do know someone killed the only person I've given a damn about in a long time!"
"Uh, guys." Macayle said gently, almost whispering. They turn to her surprised. Neither one of them had noticed her coming out of the emergency room. Before she could say anything to them she saw a familiar face walking down the hall towards them, "Nina? What are you doing here?"
"I just arrived from Cleveland. When Angel didn't show I figured-Is something wrong?
"We'll explain on the way," Faith said. Nina and Macayle following behind. As Giles went to protest, the window to his right shattered. Everyone looked towards the disturbance but Faith didn't have time to even move before the Judge had his arm wrapped around Giles neck.
"Run," Giles gasped out before burning from the inside out. Faith's eyes widened as she hurried after Nina and Macayle.

"Well, wasn't quite what I was expecting. But I guess I should've," President Fredrick Prescott said. "Now!" He, Konkel and Norquist fired their weapons. He made a note to teach the Mayor to shoot more accurately.
"No!" Willow screamed.
"Were done here for now," the president said. Then they disappeared in a flash.

Tucker couldn't decide if he was angry or pleased at the latest turn of events in the Oval Office. He needed to think. He turned off the monitor that had a direct feed into the White House and sat in the pitch blackness.

"Everybody all right?" Oni asked.
Darla was a little relieved that Willow had finally put out the sun ball. She didn't know why because ever since she had shot it into the air Darla had been shielding herself and Angel and it was taking all her strength to keep both shields up.
"Mom? Baby? Dad? Anybody?" She heard her Sweet boy's voice. She, along with Angel were at his side in his second. Along with Salome and Andrew. Even before they realized it wasn't him but his best friend Jamie who had a bullet through the heart. He was dead.
More sobbing, barely audible was heard from across the room. Darla looked over and saw Willow crying over Buffy's dead body and Oni trying to comfort her.
