Everyone has secrets. Some are small, some are big. Some secrets can be deadly.

Well... uh... that was unexpected. I knew it was over for Jules when she wrote that letter. Wasn't waiting for a rescue or anything. On one hand, I liked the character and am sad to see her go. Especially that way. But d**n! Now I'm interested in this more than ever. I really want to see how everyone holds up and reacts to this. You know, after a little time has passed. So it did turn out that Jaime was a spy but didn't know exactly why. Like I said in that other topic, I thought it was possible but I wasn't really sold on it after the last episode. And I also originally thought it might have been under somewhat different circumstances. I really don't know what to say about him. I'm glad I can't comprehend what he's feeling. Beyond the guilt, betrayal, and whatever else... this new life, which he didn't believe in a week ago, is all he has left. I'm just shocked he didn't go catatonic. Salome. I can't even take a guess as to what she won't tell Connor. Well, I had one brief guess but I don't think it made any sense so I'm not even going to mention it. And Connor. Now he has another death on his hands. It isn't his fault, but there'll be no telling him that. It just always gets worse for him, doesn't it? But he's Connor. This is what happens to him. So what, did Wes make a deal with the Senior Partners before heading to Vail's? This is probably all just so he can resurrect Fred. ... It isn't... is it? Oh god, I was just kidding! Kidding! Anyway, very well done. I'm looking forward to the next episode. So, it'll probably be two Wednesdays from now?

I knew it was over for Jules when she wrote that letter.
I thought that it was wicked obvious myself, but no one else has commented on it yet. Originally, most of the contents of her letter was supposed to be spoken directly to Connor... But I couldn't think of a way to get him in a person-to-person with Jules that wouldn't interfere with her getting nabbed by Clarice.
On one hand, I liked the character and am sad to see her go. Especially that way.
But d**n! Now I'm interested in this more than ever. I really want to see how everyone holds up and reacts to this. You know, after a little time has passed.
I love Jules myself. I thought she was completely and utterly adorable. But she was introduced specifically to die... I know, it's such a dumb excuse. The Doyle-copout, if you will... But I'm serious. The first draft of "Resurrection" doesn't have Jules in it. She was brought in later and I knew she was going to die the minute I came up with her.
There is definitely going to be a shift. The group dynamic is going to start to gel more. I think we're already starting to see bits of that between Connor-Andrew-Salome, but we'll get it even more now.
And honestly? When I got favourable responce towards Jules, I was even more jazzed about killing her. It must be the sadistic Jossian streak in me.
And I also originally thought it might have been under somewhat different circumstances.
I really liked your false memory idea. If I had thought of that earlier, I probably would have used it. But alas, I didn't.
I really don't know what to say about him. I'm glad I can't comprehend what he's feeling. Beyond the guilt, betrayal, and whatever else... this new life, which he didn't believe in a week ago, is all he has left. I'm just shocked he didn't go catatonic.
Jamie has a lot of issues right now. I hope this came off in the last story: He thought Connor was going to kill him. And he really wanted him to. This is a big turning point for him. This is going to be something that will haunt him for the rest of the series.
He's still got a bit of the skeptic in him. Connor calling him "Agent Scully" in episode three was actually a really apt analogy.
Salome. I can't even take a guess as to what she won't tell Connor. Well, I had one brief guess but I don't think it made any sense so I'm not even going to mention it.
I'm fasinated. Do tell! Just a hint: It has nothing to do with the fact she's got the hots for him. 'Cause she really doesn't have to tell him that.
And Connor. Now he has another death on his hands.
My poor boy. I do so love when he's hurting.
So what, did Wes make a deal with the Senior Partners before heading to Vail's? This is probably all just so he can resurrect Fred. ...
Good guess. Not saying anything.
Anyway, very well done. I'm looking forward to the next episode. So, it'll probably be two Wednesdays from now?
There's a possibility it'll be out this Wednesday. I'm working on it right now. I've got some roadblocks (such as my regular computer having a bit of a crisis and having to use another one). But it's coming along.
BTW, the episode guide is wrong. I'd fix it, but I have no access to my webpage editing software at the moment. The next episode is "Purple Haze", not "My Brother's Keeper". As you can probably guess by the title, "Purple Haze" will be rather Salome-centric.

There was an implication in an episode that Salome was watching Connor for some reason. I assume that was what she didn't want revealed. Lorne would most likely have informed Connor if her interest was against his - or at least if Salome knew her interest was against his.
In a more general sense, good work. I did not start this with a background of sympathy for Conner, but in your hands he comes off as a much more sympathetic character.

I'm glad you think I handle Connor well in this story, Eddie. I've always been a fan of his and I wanted him to come off well in this story.
Interesting guess on Salome. However, I've already had Jamie watch Connor... Do you really think I'd do that twice? I mean, it would be like Spike having a soul... Oh wait, they did that *g*

He thought Connor was going to kill him. And he really wanted him to.
Yeah, that was definitely clear. And now he’s got to be on suicide watch, doesn’t he? I wouldn’t trust him to be in a room by himself right now. I don’t expect him to try anything, but the other characters can’t take that chance, can they?
I'm fasinated. Do tell!
I hope this isn’t a let down. You know, I’m going to post it in the spoilers and speculation topic, just incase. Even if I’m being cryptic, I do know a small spoiler from the website and I don’t want to give any hints to people who don’t want them.
Besides resurrecting Fred, I’ve just been assuming Wes has been trying to raise The First. Now, I don’t know what we’re supposed to think happened to The First after the Buffy series finale, or if we’re even supposed to think anything specific. But that's what's in my head and I can't get it out.
I have a couple other theories about Wes that aren’t related to each other. When/if I can put them into coherent thoughts, I’ll post them in his speculation topic. For now, let’s just say I’m not convinced he’s evil, and I’m not convinced it’s even him. Yeah, I think too hard sometimes.

Poor Jamie is rather a mess. I don't think he's truly suicidal, but... There will be worries from the others.
For now, let’s just say I’m not convinced he’s evil, and I’m not convinced it’s even him. Yeah, I think too hard sometimes.
I think too hard all the time.
And on Wes... Well, I don't think you'll be disappointed. At least, I hope not.

Jules' death was pretty specifically because it was the Buffyverse and I really needed to state that things are quite bad.
Wesley is very powerful, but he's not an old one.
