I was going to make this a general announcement, but I've decided to put it here in the spoiler section since there is a slightly spoilerish thing in it.
"The Nyazian Prophecies" will be picked up for a second season. There will also be an addition. Kou Shibasaki (Oni Kato) will be joining the regular cast.

The DVD for the first season will be available probably a month after the finale. Late May / early June for the finale, late June / early July for the DVD.
Extra are going to include:
--Commentary on selected episodes.
--Deleted and alternate scenes.
--Season overview.
--Trailers and opening credits.
--Picture gallery.
--At least five Feature-ettes.

What are the odds of getting the actors in on the commentary?  I'm already looking forward to deleted scenes, since you've mentioned a couple things that were cut that I'd like to see. Also, my reaction to a season 2 is the same as Deacon's. |

Let me just ring up Vinnie, Tom, Bret and Anna. I'm sure they'd be THRILLED to do it.
There were be a lot of deleted scenes, as well as the original pilot (which doesn't vary TOO much, but has a couple of changes that will immediately be noticable).
Glad you guys are stoked! We've already got a couple of ideas that we're excited to get to.

*****SPOILER ALERT*****  Is this show going to have season long bad guys like The Master, Angelus, Spike, Drusilla, The Mayor, Adam, Glory, Warren, Jonathon, Andrew, Willow going from good to evil (though I question that one) and The First or is it going to be like Angel where we can expect Wesley and most likely the hellmouth in season two?  I personally hope it'll be more like Buffy because I think it was possible for Joss Whedon to do more with Buffy than Angel and my mind is working on all sorts of theories and ideas.  |

POTENTIAL SPOILERS
I think it will be a mix of both "Buffy" and "Angel". While there will most likely be seasonal bad guys, there will be threads that go through the entire series.

Based on how the rest of the season is heading I am going to make some speculations about season two just for my own personal fun.
Vail will die and Azriel will be the Buffy universes Drusilla who even though you could, would and should kill you don't won't and can't for a number of reasons.
Angel will come visit now that Vail is dead although cautiously because who knows who is still out there and Giles and some other Buffy members from the council will check on Andrew saying stuff like you saved the world without us even though he warned them and they didn't listen. But like I said this is my speculation.

she probably won't give a answer till after the finale but i am thinking that Sal will end up being in the second season.

WOW! Great spin-off. I found your show recently after I started looking for fanfiction on Connor (my favorite character) after rewatching season 4 and 5. And by the looks of it you must have put a lott of effort in it too it looks great, you got Connor's character down very well!!
I also starded really liking the new characters (Salome, Jamie ect.). And I loved that you put Andrew in your story I found him a very funny character on the show, but never aspected Connor and Andrew as friends to work out so well, now i'm wishing there would be more story's where these two would meet up, lol!
And I can't say how happy I am that you decided to do another season and a movie, looking forward to it!!

Thank you very much! It's always good to know other Connor fans have found my series!
It's funny... For a long time, I didn't like Andrew. But he slowly won me over. I think TNP is the only time they get an extended meeting, but I would love to see other stories where they meet myself. I think they would have an interesting dynamic.
I must be completely honest... I actually have plans in my head for six seasons of TNP. I have no idea if I'll actually *get* that far, but that's always going to be my hope.
I've taken a break on the movie (I'm about a quarter of the way done) and am working on TNP 2x01 and on the extras for the DVD release. There should be something new out soon, I hope.
