You know what my favorite part of any story involving the battle between good and evil is? The part where the villains get their just desserts, i.e. when they're defeated. Especially if they get defeated in a "creative" manner. Anyone else agree?
P.S. TNP, and Buffy and Angel, for that matter, do a good job of showing creative ways to defeat bad guys.

I loved the death of The Judge. Classic! But I also only agree with your statemet to a point. After seeing season six and seven of Buffy for the first time my first thought was what would it have been like if Glory had won.

Point taken, Buffy Fan. The defeats really weren't all that inspired- or satisfying- in S6 or S7 of Buffy; in fact, both seasons were kinda depressing. Season six for obvious reasons and season seven because the bad guy (The First) won't ever be defeated decisively. Of course Caleb died, but I didn't find his death that entertaining.
But I'm not talking about just Buffy; I'm also thinking about Angel and TNP as well. Especially the end of season five of Angel where all of the Circle of the Black Thorn members die, along with Marcus Hamilton. Very nice way to end the series.
Still, I do think it might have been a good idea if they had just left Buffy for dead. 'Cause s*** went bad after- and because of- her resurrection.

Atvs had no problems with the bad guy(s). Wolfram and Hart as well as The Circle of the Black Thorn were the best arc long vilians in any series I have ever seen. Especially since The Circle of the Black Thorn had to be done in about six episodes after the writers knew the series wasn't going to be picked up for a sixth season. Week to week villians will of coarse vary depending on people's opinions on the episodes andPoint of View. As for The Nyazian Prophecies, I again think week to week villians will vary, but don't have any problems with Clarice or how she died (I loved it), Azriel or how he died and Vail or how he died. One of my favorite parts about the Buffyverse is that the majority of the season finalies can be series finalies with the exception of Buffy season two and Angel season four. And that has a lot to do with the bad guys dieing in the finales.

By the way, when I was referring to villains, I was mainly referring to the Big Bads. Although I loved Dahlia's death in TNP and Lissa's death on Buffy. (Lissa was the demon that was portrayed by actress-singer Ashanti.)
