I've thought about doing this for a while, but I was finally decided to because of davis. Here's some tips for making manips for TNP for those of you who are so inclined.
Character Galleries I use for characters:
Connor Angel / Vincent Kartheiser-- Precious Guilt
Salome Simpson / Anna Paquin-- Anna Paquin Fan
Jamie Black / Bret Harrison-- Bret Harrison
Oni Kato / Kou Shibasaki-- Kou ShibaSaki - Unofficial fansite
Mandy Boyd / Allison Mack-- Allison Mack Online
Andrew Wells / Tom Lenk-- Tom Lenk Network
General Buffy Galleries (has a lot of good stuff for Connor, Andrew as well as other characters in the Jossverse):

HOW I MAKE ANNA PAQUIN LOOK LIKE A NYAZIAN DEMON:
Take a picture of Anna Paquin
HAIR:
Select hair using the lasso. Copy and paste onto separate layer. Desaturate hair layer.
Go to Color Balance (Image --> Adjustments --> Color Balance). Set levels in midtones to Red +100, Green 0, Blue +100. Make sure "Preserve Luminosity" is checked. (I know the screencap shows red at +94, but that was an error. It SHOULD be +100).
Using the eraser, erase colored bits that aren't hair (any skin or background that got included with the hair selection. I just a soft round brush, so it blends in with the picture.
EYES:
Select Pupils using lasso. Copy and paste on new layer. Desaturate and set layer to "Multiply".
MAKE UP:
Eye:
Select a purple color (#581f58) is good. On a SEPARATE layer, paint just over eyes.
Use Gaussian Blur (Filter --> Blur --> Gaussian Blur) on layer. Settings will depend on size of picture. It should appear to fade off.
Set layer to Color
Using black colour (#000000) and a small brush, on a new layer, paint over lashes. Cover the whole top, but only do about half of the bottom of eye from the corner in.
Using the smudge tool (set to around 40%), smudge the lines you made on the lashes.
Lips:
Select and copy lips onto a new layer. Desaturate layer.
Erase any non-lip flesh and teeth that was selected along with the lips.
Darken lips using Brightness & Contrast (Image --> Adjustments --> Brightness/Contrast ). Level will depend on Anna's lip color in the original picture. Should be a dark grey / light black.
Go to Color Balance (Image --> Adjustments --> Color Balance). Set levels in midtones to ABOUT Red +80, Green 0, Blue +30. Make sure "Preserve Luminosity" is checked.
ILLYRIA-LIKE MARKS:
I've been refining this over a long time. This is my current and favorite way to do it.
On a new layer, using a soft round brush and an OBNOXIOUS green, mark off where the spots should be. They should cover the forehead, cheeks, the sides of the neck, shoulders and outside of the arm, spine, side of the torso and side legs, depending on what you see in the picture.
Using Gaussian Blur, blur the green so it's a bit more faded around the edges. Use your eraser to make sure it's ONLY covering the areas of flesh you want marks on. Now hide the layer for the moment.
On another new layer, use the above brush (it's called Sea Sponge. I think it's a Photoshop default) in a dark purple (I like #2d0d2d) and cover the area you want the marks on. Make sure you get every spot.
Duplicate the mark layer. Set the first one to Color and the second one to Soft Light
On another new layer, use the above brush (Rolled Rag - Terry 120 Pixels). Use it in a light greyish-purple color (#b3a7b3). Cover the area you want marks on, like you did with the above marks. Set this layer to Multiply at about 87% Opacity.
Make the green layer visible again. Go to that layer and select all. I move the green slightly, so ONLY the green is selected. Now inverse the selection (Select --> Inverse).
Now go back to the layers with the marks on it (don't deselect!). Press delete to clear the marks you made that aren't beneath the bits you designated to be marked. Once you're done, you can delete the green layer. You should be left with this:
FULL DEMON FORM:
To go full demon form, apply the same steps you used to colour the hair, just do it on the skin instead.
OTHER THINGS YOU CAN DO TO MAKE ANNA MORE SALOME-ISH:
--Salome wears a lot of black, so you can recolour her clothing.
--Typical jewellery would be a Star of David. If her wrist is visible, you might consider putting a cross there. If her fingers of her left hand are visible, you might want to include the Claddaugh ring she got from Connor.
--For S1 Salome's marks, you can use the Rolled Rag brush on her chest in a dark purple, using similar steps as I used above for the Illyria marks.
OTHER NOTES:
--It's very, very hard to use pictures from the later X-Men movies (once Rogue has her stripes), so be careful! You need to actually treat the stripe like a separate bit of hair and play around with brightness/contrast. It's not for the faint of heart.
--As with all of the actors, there are certain roles Anna has played that aren't appropriate for Salome. Choose carefully.
