I knew this fan fiction forum would ruin me. This idea came to me last week and I ignored it. It came back after reading the newest episode last night and it wouldn't go away. I just finally decided to write it. So it doesn't go to waste, I'm posting it.
Keep in mind that I don't consider myself a writer. The last piece of fiction that I remember doing was seven years ago. I honestly can't tell if this is worth reading or not. I still hope you enjoy it. Or enjoy making fun of me. Either way I'm happy.
Characters: Connor, Jaime, and Andrew
Summary: Connor and his friends face an impossible challenge. Set after Parents Day.
Words: 436
---------------------------------------
Looking defeated, the three young men sat on a bench near their apartment. They were the only people outside.
"We should have been able to handle this on our own," Connor said. "It isn't even that big."
Jaime patted Connor on the back. "You can't expect to take care of everything without some help." Turning to Andrew he said, "We're just lucky that your contact was able to send some people out here."
"These girls can handle anything! They are trained really well. Our problems will be over by the time Enterprise comes on."
"I can't believe Salome bailed on us." There was sadness in Connor's voice. "If she would've helped, we wouldn't have had to call them."
"From my perspective she was the smart one." With a small frown Jaime added, "Besides, I'm not sure she would have made a difference anyway."
Connor suddenly let out a few disturbing sounding coughs. "Andrew, are you sure that I'm not in danger?" he asked once he could speak.
"I had trouble identifying what that slime really is, but none of my books mentioned anything that was lethal."
"I still think we could have done this ourselves," Connor said but sounded as though he didn't believe himself. After no one responded Connor spoke again. "Wesley has to be responsible."
"What?"
"Come on, Jaime, this isn't natural. He could have summoned it, to keep us busy."
"As evil as Wesley is..." Jaime gave a small bitter laugh. After a pause he continued, "As evil as he is, I don't think even he could have come up with a plan so vile."
Just then the group noticed two women running towards them. One ignored the men and ran straight to her car. The other turned to Andrew, looking ready to kill. "That wasn't what you described! I've never seen anything so disgusting! And the smell, my god! I don't think I'll ever get it off of me!" Looking at the whole group she added, "You deal with this yourselves!" She stared at the group with a mix of disgust and disbelief for a little longer before she ran to the car and entered.
Andrew, Connor, and Jaime watched as the passenger door slammed and the car sped away.
After a moment Andrew nervously looked at Connor. "Now what do we do?"
With determination on his face Connor stood up. "I'll tell you what we do. We suck it up and face our fears. I survived a hell dimension for crying out loud! This is nothing!"

Connor looked at the room with a satisfied smile on his face. "Yeah, guys, I'm glad you ignored me. Staying at this motel is definitely better than cleaning our new apartment."
