This was a depressing episode. Please don't turn this season into the first half of Buffy season three or all of Buffy season six.
As for the teaser; I loved how it opened the way all the premiers of Buffy and Angel (or at least some with Angel) did. With a random staking. And the line where Connor says no demon will get the jump on him after which Salome does just that was my personal favorite moment in the episode.
Mandy at this point could be a love interest for someone (please not Connor; we know what happens to the gang if he and Salome aren't together) but I personally think it should be Jamie. He needs someone seeing how Andrew probably never will revel whether or not he's gay or straight.
I can't decide if I like the episode's villain or not because it has been used so many times and ways.
I am going to have to read the scenes with both Connor's in them to get them straight and Salome's explanation of how she knew the Mimic wasn't really Connor.
I did love the return of Clem's girlfriend and I hope to see her more often.

I wanted to ask and I don't know where else to ask; is there going to be a set date for the episodes like last year or are you just going to air them when your done with them?

Good Episode back Oni was great nice way to show she still misses Wes and her trying to move on Connors return to rephrase my favorite line in the season two premire in Buffy Oh and 7:23 seconds pay up I had less then 10 minutes before Connor and Sal jump into bed (May have the time and everything a little off but i haven't seen the episode in a few months). I like the rift between the Justice League added something new.
I agree with you Buffy Fan she sould be Jamie's love interest

There's going to be a bit of trouble adjusting to everyone in the first couple of eps, but I don't think it'll be uber depressing. It's just a matter of the gang getting back into the swing of things.
I myself liked the opening very much. Fre and I have had that planned for a very, very long time.
As for Mandy... Oh, I do have plans for Mandy. I am fairly certain some of you may hate me for a little while... But I gotta keep things interesting. I have a very specific plan.
Oni/Wes is not completely dead. There are still lingering feelings, but she does have to move on with him out of the country.
I *very specifically* had Connor injured badly in the movie just so I could get the frantic "we haven't had sex in three months" moment between Con/Sal.
The rift is going to be there for a bit. There has been a huge shift in the group... Connor's got his old memories, Salome's got her power boost, Wes is gone... They've really got to adapt to all of the changes, so there will be some tension.
Episodes are always going to air on Wednesday like last year... But I may miss weeks if they take me too long. I'll try to keep them as close together as I can. I'm already deep into working on "Scream", so hopefully it'll be done for next Wednesday.

This episode was depressing. In a good way though. It wouldn't make sense if things just immediately went back to the way they were before. And this is the start of what I wanted to see: How Connor handles life without the spell. Favorite line: "I am told ingesting large quantities of alcohol can often result in pregnancy." Man, that teleporting during sex thing made me cringe. Someone could get really hurt! Why'd I get the feeling that Mandy has something to do with Jasmine? I want someone, I don't care who, to tell me that that's ridiculous. Otherwise it'll be in my head until it's proven false. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be obvious that the Mimic won the fight, but that's what I figured. Also figured Salome knew, but didn't even think about her explanation until she said it. Oh, Andrew and Jamie need to get the old X-Men Arcade game into their shop. It'd fit and make them a lot of money. Eventually.

I agree with the old X-men arcade thing now that the X-3 trailer is out.

As with everything in the series, I must make my characters pay and pay and pay, even if they haven't done anything wrong.
Sadly, I don't think Connor is really any different than he was before. He just thinks he's different.
Yes, someone could really get hurt... Especially with how much Con and Sal like to do that! Hopefully, practice does make perfect.
Mandy and Jasmine? Really... You think there's a connection between Mandy and Jasmine? Now that's interesting.
I didn't know if it would be obvious or not. It really wasn't meant to be one or the other. What was supposed to be the shock was Salome's reason.
If the boys get the arcade machine, they'll never get anything done!

Liked the opening scene, the walkie talkie fit in well with the group and especially Andrew and Jamie. Also really liked Jamie’s line ‘The Destroyer's not available right now. Please accept his much cooler, yet surprisingly humble substitute.’ ^^! Go Jamie!!
And rereading the teaser after already having read esp 2 + 3 it’s so sweet and fun to see Connor and Salome in happier times!! Hope they work things out soon!!
Liked the idea of Andrew and Jamie opening a comic shop, fits well!
"I had a bad experience in a magic shop anyway." Andrew said quietly, looking down. "And I watched someone work in a magic shop once. It was really repetitive." Who’s fault was that ^~!!
Poor Connor I really felt for him when he was calling his mother, he really seems lost! Oni too, while reading season 1 I didn’t really know what I thought about Oni and Wesley together, but the phone call made me more interested in there relationship in a good way, poor girl!!
Salome shrugged. "I'm full of crap. Truth is, there's only one thing that tipped me off that it wasn't our Connor..." Her grip tightened on the banister. "He actually wanted to be with us." I liked the revalation at the end, so sad!!

Liked the opening scene, the walkie talkie fit in well with the group and especially Andrew and Jamie. Also really liked Jamie’s line ‘The Destroyer's not available right now. Please accept his much cooler, yet surprisingly humble substitute.’ ^^! Go Jamie!! The walkie talkies were inspired a bit by "Dead Man's Party". It just makes sense that the gang should use some sort of device to keep in contact with each other while patrolling. I know... They're so great when they're getting along. There's a real chemistry between them and something is missing when they're not getting along. The comic shop is something I've been comtemplating for a long time. It does fit really well for them, and it gives us another enviroment to play in. Connor's really just trying to put everything together again. He is lost, but he's got a group of supportive friends and family. There will be a big question mark on Oni/Wes for now. She still cares very deeply for him, but Oni will soon get... erm... Distracted. Salome is very sensitive to Connor and she can tell he's really hurting right now. And the saddest part is she doesn't think she can help him.

The Mimic isn't going to come back, is it? B/c one Mimic episode is enough for me. It's just too depressing. That said, it was a good 'growing pains' episode.

There are no plans for the Mimic to come back.
