Now my full thought on the episode there is something about episodes that take you over two weeks to finish that make them seem like the best of your episodes. My favorite exchanges of dialogue this episode have too be:
"Faith," Salome said simply. Andrew shrugged. "Well..." Salome rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on... I'd do her!" Andrew eyes went as wide as saucers. " Really ?"
The close number two is: Jamie let out a frustrated sigh, throwing his hockey stick to the ground. "If you ask me, the most unfortunate thing is that there are two beautiful women who've got it bad for a dumbass like you!"
I'm enjoying the Mandy/Connor/Salome you put any two of those three in a scene together and its gold.
It seems every episode i have a different favorite one of your characters but this is one of the first times that it turns out to be Oni.
Jamie he is trying to hook up with anyone who fights the good fight it seems Oni.

Thanks!
You picked two of my FAVOURITE exchanges from the episode. My third would have to be Salome and Mandy after the fight, when Sal is making with the threats.
The Mandy/Connor/Salome dynamic is going to stay tense, even if Mandy isn't actually going after Connor. Those two girls DO NOT like each other.
As for Jamie and Oni.... I think he was totally kidding. Well, maybe he was totally kidding UNLESS she responded to it. He's a little desperate.

Rethinking it if thats the way Andrew reacted too the way Sal thinks of Faith. How would Connor react?

Funny you should say that... In a cut scene in "Battle of the Champions", Salome and Connor had that exact exchange... So... Pretty much like how Andrew would react.
I don't think Connor would actually consider asking Faith or anything... Or... Well... Who knows?

Poor Sal always getting attacked by the good guys because she is a demon, again! And it seems the ‘battle’ between Sal and Mandy has began!
The talk between Andrew and Salome was great. Salome fearing not only losing Connor but also the rest of the group feels very realistic. It was also nice to find out Andrew did have a friend before coming to Connor. Them liking eachother should probably have tipped me off that Mandy isn’t your typical slayer.
I liked Connor sticking up for Sal toward Mandy and claiming to love Sal. I didn’t mind the kiss between them since Connor pulled back right away. This made me think that Connor wasn’t thinking about cheating on Sal. About Mandy I thought ‘Oh no not another slayer with a stuck up attitude!’ Thinking she is better than the rest!! Then when facing possible death turning her into a scared little girl was a little pefetic, because of her attitude earlier. Then I started to realise that Mandy’s attitude was just a front (hope that’s the right word). Meaning she isn’t really so much another slayer with a attitude who thinks she beter than the rest, but a girl with who thinks she’s on death row!! When Sal came to Mandy’s rescue I could see these to become close friens in the future kicking as together after they have settled their issuse. Sal threating Mandy seemed a very Salome thing to do, also liked Mandy’s reaction, greatfull and yet not! Don’t want things to be to simple^^!!
The scene between Connor and Mandy was great, I could relate. The meaning of the tattoo was so sad. And the conclusion that she only wanted to date the destroyer so he would protect her was kinda sweet, sad and well....selfish but understandable. And Connor’s reaction not liking to be used.....^^ poor thing!! So far I think Mandy is a interesting character and will fit in well with the group, after al she knows the sailor scouts ^^!! Her not being in competition with Connor for who the best protecor is, is good. Connor rocks!!
Not that I want a answer to this question, because I like to be kept in the dark but about this new master, I’m wondering is it Yasmine or is it somebody else?! I’m also really enjoying the talks between Connor and Jamie, they really come across as brothers.
And I agree with Sal "You make it impossible to be mad at you." Through tears, she smiled. "Bastard." It probably will take a little longer but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!
I really loved this eps. It was really good, it had a lott of powerfull scenes, looking forward to the next couple of eps, they seem very promising!!

Poor Sal always getting attacked by the good guys because she is a demon, again! And it seems the ‘battle’ between Sal and Mandy has began! At least Sal has now met most of the good guys, so maybe she won't get attacked as much. I really liked that scene because I think it was the first time we really saw that Andrew truly likes Salome. They haven't gotten a lot of scenes together and Andrew has been mistrustful and jealous of Salome in the past... But I think he really does think of her as a close friend. Salome's fears are ones I myself have experienced. I dated a guy who was in a group of friends with me and after we broke up, I felt very weird about being around the group, because he was so much closer to them than I was, so I felt like the odd man out. It's a very typical reaction, I think, when you're in a group dynamic like that. Connor never did think about cheating on Salome. Connor can't even contemplate being with someone other than Sal. Even if Faith came onto Connor, he'd be steadfastly loyal to Salome. That's just the kind of guy he is.... Loyal to a fault. Mandy is very much fronting. I think a good analogy would be Wesley in S3 of BtVS. In school, Mandy thought she had everything figured out. But when she's thrown out into the world to actually fight, it's very clear she's not ready. But Mandy humbles a lot quicker than Wes did. She knows she still has a lot of learning to do... Of course, Mandy does think she's a little better than everyone else, 'cause not only is she a Slayer, but she's a freshman college student who's always been a little pretentious. But I love her anyway. Hm... I dunno about Mandy and Sal being friends. Maybe. Possibly. I think there's a lot of tension, just because of who these two are. As a character, I love Mandy a lot. I think she'll add an interesting dynamic to the group. I'll also get to explore some Slayer issues now, which have obviously been set up since "Chosen", but not really covered in great detail. Mandy's actually not wrong in her thoughts, I think... In the Buffyverse (and in real life) people always do put a premium on the people they're dating. And I don't know how truthful Connor was... I mean, he's never actually been confronted with a situation where he had to choose between a friend and Salome. I just won't answer then *shifty look* I love, love the brotherly relationship between Connor and Jamie. I really feel their closeness. I think Jamie is the ONLY person who can get away with saying all of the things he did say to Connor and have Connor not get upset, because that's just the kind of the relationship they have. There is definitely a sliver of light. I'm glad you liked. Keep reading and I'll keep writing.

I still can't believe I didn't make the Mandy is a Slayer connection after the first episode. You'd think the all girls school thing would have at least triggered the thought even with my suspicious mind.
The 'Salome would do Faith' dialogue was a favorite of mine also. I remember Emcee saying way back when that she wanted to use that.
I would agree with the notion that Jamie was kidding about hooking up with Oni but would have turned serious if she had said yes. But I'm sure he figured that wouldn't happen.
Can't really think of anything else to add right now other than that this was my favorite of the three episodes so far this season. You guys did a good job of covering why I feel that way.

Mandy was a great episode. At least compared to the first two. And hopefully things will start picking up from here on out when it comes to the inner relationships of the main characters. Mandy was obviously a slayer, it was easy to see, I just wish I didn't know before I read it by Emcee two weeks before the episode aired.

The Watcher's school is pretty much connect to the Slayer's school, so it's also run by Giles. The current Watcher's council is made up of:
(1) The non-Slayer Scoobys. (2) Magic-user friends (Vaughn, the coven Giles knows) (3) Slayers who choose not to fight or feel they're unable to (whether it be because of injury or age or whatever).
