Mandy is directing a production of "Hamlet" and Oni has won herself the role of Ophelia... But a demon is terrorizing the theatre

A filler episode not dealing with the arc of the season, but at the same time I will say that so far I think I enjoyed this episode the most out of all the season two episodes. Mandy as a regular now was cool. My next guess is when Lorne will be a regular. I like the potential relationship between Oni and Crawford Lee as well as the scene where Jamie and Mandy finally have their first kiss. It was sweet. Now if only we could determine whether or not Andrew is gay or straight so that he could get someone. Oni gets funnier and funnier with ever sentence out of her mouth. Again great episode and I am glad that even though this was a filler it still tied in to other episodes somewhat more than the beginning five did (the falling light. I never would've thought of that).

Intense episode! Intriguing, too. Showing Connor annoyed at being interrupted while he's trying to get it on with Salome was pretty clever, too. I just bet that's going to flow into the next episode! I think I see the arc significance: Crawford Lee, besides stopping Yahku from killing Connor, was disfigured by some form of mystical energy when Dawn's blood opened the gate (for lack of a better word) to Quortoth, right? Oh yeah, and the demon that attacked Buffy was probably also from there. Also, I have the feeling we haven't seen the last of Ethan Rayne or Gerard DeGuise- or James Black II for that matter.

I have to say I'm not fond of the term filler episode... It implies its just there to kill time until the main plot... But this episode is important to the plot, just not the plot about Manigmus. It's important to the arc of the characters.
I don't think Lorne will ever be a regular. Mandy... I can find something to do with every episode. Lorne, on the other hand, tends to work best in small doses. I got tired of him when he turned up in every episode of AtS. Also, the cast is pretty big at this point. Someone needs to leave before anyone else comes in.
Andrew will be starting to feel a bit of the loneliness, now that all of his friends are more or less paired up.
There will definitely be some annoyance (and embarrassment) next episode.
That's a very interesting theory on Crawford. And it does make sense. We'll have to wait and see.
I did throw Ethan Rayne in mostly as a fun little callback, but.... You know... I HAVE been thinking about it. One of the great things about leaving bad guys alive is leaving the opportunity for reappearance.

Nice episode. And speaking of Jamie's father, what about his mother? Both Lilah Morgan and Holland Manners have demonstrated that death isn't the end for a Wolfram & Hart employee if the Senior Partners can make use of them, and I would think that Christine Black could be used very effectively as weapon to weaken Connor by going after one of his friends.

It is something I've thought about, but haven't addressed yet.
The answer at the moment: Christine essentially sacrificed herself for her son, so she might not be as useful as the firm would like.

So now we have four warriors Angel, Carr, Boyd and Lee. Together they don't seem like enough to beat Magnimus, or even Jasmine for the most part. I wonder what Lee's powers are, besides super strength

Crawford isn't someone I would really define as a "warrior". He has supernatural powers, no doubt, but I think, outside of fighting Gerard, he's not really interested in using them.
So far, we know his powers are:
(1) A certain amount of strength. (2) Healing factor so quick it borders on impervious. (3) Ability to sense other supernatural beings.
