I also wanted to add that the alternate universe where Salome died is sort of like the alternate universe in Star Trek: Deep Space 9: an interesting world worth repeated visits. Are any more crossovers planned or will it be just the Salome-less reality alone?

I used the DS9 parallel in my LJ to describe what I think the AlternaVerse could be for TNP. I think it's definitely worth repeat visits.

Question: if the Slayer's Scythe is with the Slayer's Council in the alternate universe, did they ever send a Slayer to assist Connor, Spike and Az? Becuase wasn't a Slayer part of the sacrifice for creating the Hellmouth? If they did send a Slayer, who was it?

They sent Rona still, but they didn't send the scythe. I'd suggest not questioning it much.

No need to question it further! I think I can see why the Scythe wasn't sent.

Two things:
1.Why didn't Connor, Azriel and Spike claim Lamia House as their own instead of staying in their apartment? Considering they killed everyone in Lamia House, you'd think they would have moved in.
2.That wasn't very smart of alt-Connor to kill alt-Oni. He and his comrades could have used her to their advantage somehow. But I guess it was necessary stroy-wise, right? Still...

1. Connor, Azriel and Spike were playing it safe. They had no idea what Dahlia could have done to the house as safety precautions (In fact, if you think about it, OUR heroes have no idea what Dahlia did to the house as safety precautions).
2. alternaConnor didn't care. He just wants to kill everyone involved with Cyvus Vail.

I originally read this episode hours after it was put up but as usual with my computer, I have to reply at school and this is the first time I can do so. I loved the episode and liked what you did to them. As for comments made earlier about localized apocalypses, I understand what you're saying but worldwide would have meant spilling onto each other's shows and Joss was trying to individualize the two shows as much as possible. My favorite part about this episode was picking out the differences between the two Connor's and then seeing Salome shoot down Alt-Connor and realizing Connor isn't all that bad thus getting back together with him. About time!

boywonder hit the name of the alt verse, knowingly or not: the “Sal-less verse.” Or something like that anyway.
I enjoyed the episode. It wasn’t what I expected... not that I know what I expected. Like everyone else, I wouldn’t mind seeing it explored some more.

I'd like to call it "Mothverse" because it sounds better than "Butterflyverse" and it's dark, which moths are more like (I read somewhere they're butterflies that didn't get the chance to become butterflies and it's fitting that way)

Condrew, I think you're onto something.

I really love the idea of two Connor's. You can never have enough Connor. I hope we see this other Connor again. Please.
