The demon sent by Magnimus has devoured Angel's soul. Now, it's a race against time to track down the demon before Angel's soul is completely destroyed and Angelus takes over permanently.

Sorry I've been away so long. I had a lot going on in my life. Anyway, great episode. Lots of suspense, drama, and emotion. Especially the confrontation between Connor and Magnimus...that was a great touch! "Power that Wannabe" reference to Jasmine was really clever too. I really loved the final battle between Connor and Angelus where Connor had Salome's soul and was battling with Salome's powers. Will comment on part one later. Again, great episode well worth the wait!

Loved this episode. I can't pick a favorite part. The Connor/Angel/Angelus interaction (in a very non-romantic way) was great, and so was the Salome-giving-him-her-soul twist. I really liked Lawrence's mini-talk with Connor at the end of the episode. Colleen making his birthday dinner in the midst of all the demonic stuff seemed like just the right touch to make the episode more believable.

I'm glad you guys liked the Salome bit. I was worried that was going to come off as a little deux-ex-machina, but I tried to give a good basis for it (along with some hints before it actually happened).
It took me SUCH a long time to get the Connor-Angelus interaction down. That was the most important thread, so it was the most difficult.
Colleen making dinner in the midst of everything was Pablo's idea, I totally owe her for that one. It really just worked so well. She's such a mom.

This one was awesome. I wish they would have done stuff like this on the show. You did a really good job. the whole Angelus trying to turn connor was perfect. You rock!

I liked the episode. Although I am confused on an issue. Why do the reilly's think they have to give up Connor as Mr. Reilly is obviously thinking and ultimatly ends up doing. Especially if they ACTUALLY DO remember him. It makes me personally think Connor gets that from them just as much as he does Angel.
Also the whole Angelus trying to turn Connor didn't quite work for me. because Angelus is the kind of person who would go through other people to see pain on someone's face and make them weak that way before EVENTUALLY turning them.
Am I wrong or were you going for another approch and I just missewd the point? Please, I would like to know.

I totally like the part about Angelus trying to turn Connor. Of, course it wouldn't have gotten that far but it was really awesome to see him try. And what better way to try to hurt him then using his biggest fear against him - the whole vamp thing and the possibility that he could hurt his friends. 100 kudos for this whole story arc.

Okay, Buffy Fan, let me see if I can explain what happened without spoiling anything from future episodes.
Mr and Mrs Riley believe that they HAVE to let Connor believe they don't remember him, so he will have less of a problem being the Detroyer. Connor doesn't have much of a recollection of them and if he were to know they remembered him, he might feel obligated to act as their son, as opposed to being Angel's son. They think that's what Connor really wants to be.
As for Angelus trying to sire Connor... It was the only way for Angelus to truly DESTROY Connor. At this point in his existence, Angelus is not as much worried about destroying other people as he is worried about destroying ANGEL. If Connor were to be turned into a soulless vampire, it would kill Angel. So that's the reason for it. Turning Connor into something he hates would be a way for Angelus to hurt his other half.
Vamp, I'm glad you liked the episode. I very much enjoyed writing it.

Hi--first time posting. Actually, I just read the complete first season and the eps of season two over the last two days (i just finished taking the bar and now finally have free time). I really like this series--a really interesting twist to the continuation of Connor's story. I have to admit my favorite thing about AtS was the Angel/Connor interactions, so I was really looking forward to having them in this story and thought you did a great job. I think it is easy to either have Connor completely shun Angel or come around to completely love him as a father, and I really like that you were able to create a middle ground where although Angel isn't a huge part of his life, Connor has finally accepted Angel and what it means to be his son. And to get me to actually like Andrew as a character is no small feat. I can't wait for the next ep!

Hi! I'm Jay. I'm posting this here because I didn't know where else to post. I've tried to send you an email, but it just didn't work. Sorry! I was searching for... Angel stuff, and I found the TNP page. I was really confused because I've never heard about a virtual serie before. Right now I'm reading season one, and I have to say that I love it. At night, I can't go to bed without reading a chapter! It's great the way you (Emcee I think) write, and the way you all work together to get to this serie. Also I've already read the movie, and I loved it too. The convination of all "my" (as I like to call them) champions, was really great. What I mostly love about Nyazian Prophecies is of course, Connor. He is way too different from what he was in Angel. At least that's what I think. He has changed, it's a boy with friends and girlfriend, facing his true destiny. I also like the relationship between him and Angel, and how he is accepting who he is. The role of Andrew... he brings the funny stuff that in Angel and Buffy were always necessary. The flirting and love between Connor and Salome is so funny sometimes, that you actually feel the need to love them. And finally... having Wesley and Lorne in this serie, is just... great. When Angel ended in 2004, I felt sad and dissapointed (WB ) . I was just in love with that serie, and of course, of David too. And I find excellent that some fans keep their love for the serie letting us (the rest of the fans) enjoy with this kind of series. It's fantastic. The chapters are easy to read, as I'm from Argentina, I don't speak English (only when I'm in my english classes), but I do read stuff (FF, spoilers, webpages, lyrics, etc) in english. I'll ask you to keep writting and creating this serie, please. Promise I'll try to feedback the episodes, after I catch up with the chaps. Congratulations for The Nyazian Prophecies, guys! And I repeat... I SOOO LOVE IT! See you, Jay.
