OMG I love it!!! I'ts great to see oni's going to be fine, and I really wanna know if all slayers get the "death is your gift" speech... I feel really bad for salome and connor though  , kinda makes me glad I'm in the andrew/matty club, I've seen enough pregnant teen-level people to know the scare, and more than enough false positives. Speaking of Andy and matty... who topped? it's great to see the commentary again, I'm gunna listen to it right now. |

A part of me wants to know if it was really a false positive or if it was the vampire attack while the other part is grateful it was written so readers didn't know for sure.
Is Mandy and her boyfriend's relationship going to last much longer?
This ending I considered more sad than the last one. I had tears in my eyes when I read Salome crying at the end.

As I said in the audio commentary, I think the Slayer journey is different for each Slayer. And while "Death is your gift" was mentioned (I feel jokingly by Buffy), that wasn't really what she was saying. She was saying that life is Mandy's gift.
Connor and Salome's situation I'd say is a little different than a teen pregnancy. Yes, Connor was surprised by it (as was Salome), but they are at the point in their lives and their relationship where they would have been happy to have a child (or children, I guess in the case of Salome).
As for Andy and Matty *cough* Well, I did leave things ambiguous... I didn't even say exactly what they did. But I think Andrew would have been the more submissive partner.
It was nice to do a commentary again. I've wanted to do ones for the other eps. I actually have part of "Unconventional Means" done, but I ended up going off on a tangent and I think I'm gonna have to scrap that whole commentary and start again.

I thought it most realistic to leave it ambiguous. At that early stage, it's really hard to tell for certain whether or not it's miscarriage or false-positive. I stated my own thoughts on the matter in the audio commentary, but I think it can be interpreted either way.
As for Mandy/Jamie... We're just going to have to see how things go. They're not in love right now, but they're still together. They like being together. Right now, for them, that's enough.
Awww... I never know what to think when someone tells me they got teary over something I wrote. Part of me goes "Aha! I did my job!" Another part of me feels really bad. But yeah... I felt really bad for Salome too.

This has probably been one of my favorites this season. By the end I was crying pretty good. How sad for Salome. I was pretty excited about them having a baby(babies). It would have been kind of cool to have another season three baby (since Connor was born during season three of Angel).
