Wesley returns to Palo Alto a changed man. But will his new powers be able to help him with the fissures to Quortoth? And how will he react to the changes in Oni's life?

While Jamie has a TINY bit of homophobia in his questioning to Matty, I think most of it was he didn't get why someone would be attracted to Andrew. He probably WOULDN'T have had that conversation if Matty was a girl though, if only cause in my mind, Jamie wouldn't talk to a girl about relationships.
As for Andrew's oral talents... Well, I think Matty was just riling Jamie. But I think the implication is clear.

I did not see that ending coming.
Jamie in my opinion had a lot of nerve to voice those questions. Everyone has them, I have no doubt, but to say them out loud the way he did is rude on a large scale.
I also assumed Salome would be a LOT more depressed about her miscarriage. Why isn't she? Is she just acting? Or is she a time bomb waiting to emotionally explode?
This is the first time I remember Salome having Illyria's powers? Has it been mentioned before?
Lastly my favorite part of this episode is actually how well Andrew's relationship is coming along. I feel glad for him and yet it is odd because I am not sure how to feel about Wesley/Oni.

Glad I surprised! I thought calling the next episode "Sisters" might have spoiled it!
Jamie is incredibly rude in what he asked. It was jerkass of him, IMHO. He's lucky Matty didn't punch him.
Salome is still very much in denial. She's still trying to think it was a false alarm.
There has been hints of Salome using Illyria's powers earlier this season. If I recall correctly the first mention was during her fight with Jasmine/Faye:
Faye: I have the power of Jasmine flowing through me. Salome: And I have Illyria flowing through me.
I'm glad you like how well Andrew's relationship is going. I really like Andrew/Matty. As for Wes/Oni... They're not sure how they feel about it. So I think it's fitting you don't either.

I just KNEW Grace Kendrick had to be Grandae! Well, I actually only strongly suspected after seeing Grace Kendrick's name in the episode guide. But I loved the big reveal! Wesley's telekinetic powers were a nice little surprise. And considering his dark, troubled past, I can see why he wanted the Slayer's Council in the dark about his new abilities. I have a feeling Wesley's going to be one of those tragic (heroic?/villainous?) figures in future episodes... Poor Gord. Hope the Justice League is able to save him. Salome's remark about Andrew and Matty making out was really interesting, too. Not too many women are crazy about seeing two guys making out. But I'm glad she's one of the few who does like it! ;D Which brings me to Jamie's comment about Andrew and Matty...I know from personal experience that a lot of guys (mostly straight) are uncomfortable with the idea of two guys as a couple. Sad, really. I happen to like the idea of two guys together.

Jamie is incredibly rude in what he asked. It was jerkass of him, IMHO. He's lucky Matty didn't punch him. Well, have you ever known a twenty-something male to NOT find something to say of the jerkass variety? Personally, I didn't see Jamie's questioning as TOO out-of-line, and I'm a gay guy myself. It's like Matty said with his 'indoctrinated homophobia' line - it's part of our culture's viewpoint on male/male relationships. Your typical heterosexual male is not going to instantly click on to the reason why a guy would want to have a relationship with another guy. And yeah, they're going to voice the question at some point. Granted, Jamie probably asked it sooner than most would, but at some point, he would raise the question regardless. I did not see the Grandae reveal coming either. Of course, part of that probably came from how I don't expect the major players to come in the form of a new Watcher. I can always approve of a twist on audience perceptions, and this one I liked. Also, lest I forget the major focus of the episode, I loved the 'post-sex' conversation between Oni and Wes. Poor girl has been through the wringer in the romance department, hasn't she? (...I mean, more than your typical Slayerverse character) But you know, for two characters who started out as roommates, she and Salome don't get a lot of screen time together. Anyone else find that odd?

and that's why I love matty "... with a loser like you", jamie really deserved that (I don't take kindly to the breeders' questions and comments)
(I was in complete agreement with everything the pink posse did in queer as folk S4)

Damnable real life. Doesn't it realize that there are more important things than its shenanigans?
