Tucker Wells arrives in Palo Alto to visit Andrew. But the elder Wells hasn't had the same enlightenment as his brother. When Connor, Salome and Lorne begin to act strangely, it's up to Andrew to solve the mystery.

God that really made me hate Tucker! good job! I like the fact that your taking it to heart when you said it would sorta be like S7 of BtVS and S5 of Ats. my only negative comment is that the seal of Danthalzar is supposed to be on top of only Hellmouths, unless of course you have some brilliant kickass plot twist that'll probably answer my question and leave me going "Oh......... COOL!"

This was an amusing episode. I'm not thrilled with letting the villain go, even if he is related to one of the characters. But I guess I wouldn't expect anything else from, well, any of the Buffyverse characters really.
Let me get this straight: Connor is for all intensive purposes dating Salome. But with none of the benefits. Somewhere in his overloaded brain he realizes this. And he's fine with things where they stand.
I'm starting to think that in addition to this demonphobia he has, he's really just scared to be involved intimately with someone again, demon or not, which would be understandable. If he didn't want to be with Salome just because she's a demon I don't think he'd be as close with her as he is. Whatever his reasons, I hope he realizes how he feels soon and either makes their relationship official, or if he doesn't feel the need to do so, that she finds someone else so everyone can move on. Of course, I'm guessing if Salome did find someone else Connor wouldn't just move on.
Oh, so that's how it'll happen. Salome will find someone else. Connor will become jealous and try to win her back or whatever it is he thinks he'll be doing. He'll act like a jackass the whole time so he won't, at least not right away. This will lead to much angst for a while until something finally pushes them together, whether it's some big important event or common sense. Hmmm, I wonder how close I am. Probably not very.
I actually have no preference in how these two end up. I’m just hoping that Connor stops leading Salome along if he isn’t going to do anything about how he feels about her.
What I read about the next episode has me really excited. Hopefully I'll get a chance to read it as soon as you post it, unlike this time around.

Exactly. I couldn't kill Tucker, not only because he's Andrew's brother, but because he's human. Anyone in the Buffyverse would have done the same. Besides, with such an amusing bad guy, I want to bring him back at some point. He may end up being the more annoying version of Ethan Rayne.
Yep. That's pretty much the it.
I think the demonphobia is pretty much an excuse with him. He's been with three girls in varying degrees. One of them died of a heroin overdose after their first kiss, one of them manipulated him and died due to the birth of his child and the other one was not really his girlfriend and just a false memory (Tracy broke up with Connor pretty much immediately after the memory change was put into effect).
This will all be dealt with very soon. One way or another, Connor/Salome will be resolved.
Expect it either Friday or Saturday.

It just irks me a little that he gets off without any consequences, even though everyone knows that he's just going to cause more trouble somewhere. But really, what can they do to him, lock him in a closet? The only other alternative to letting him go is the killing, which like you said isn't actually an option.
There really needs to be a special jail set up for ill intentioned spell casters or something.
Yeah, I agree with that. It may have been more than an excuse before, but he's definitely over that with her by now. But his love life to date doesn't exactly encourage a person to give any type of serious relationship another shot.

I went on a rant about that recently. All of the good guys in the Buffyverse have this going on.
(1) Ethan Rayne left town three times before he was apprehended. (2) Cain from "Phases" got his gun broken and was told to leave town (like he wasn't going to get another and hunt more werewolves!) (3) Coach Marin ("Go Fish") was going to be saved by Buffy before the swim team monsters got to him, even though he mutated a bunch of kids, killed the nurse and was going to let the team gangrape Buffy. (4) Despite summoning VampWillow and trying to get her powers back, Anya walked in "Dopplegangland". Not to mention letting VampWillow go back to her own dimension. (5) Our good friend Tucker was just left in his basement in "The Prom", even thought we see in this ep, he learned nothing (6) The Nerd Trio... Enough said.
It didn't really happen on Angel as much. He had more of a habit of letting bad guys get punished. But usually if they were human, it was their own fault they get punished, not anything the good guys did.
I just felt that it stood to reason that Tucker would get the same pass. They should have something set up for the human bad guys. But then, Buffy (who is in charge of the Watcher's Council) is pretty short-sighted.
Connor is less terrified of Salome than he is of himself. He probably thinks he's cursed when it comes to relationships. It's just a lot easier for him to say "I don't want to date Salome because she's a demon." Than it is to say, "I might as well be dating Salome, but I can't get over my crappy history of relationships enough to see that."

It's all right. There's always got to be an episode people aren't too thrilled about. I felt it important that Tucker come back and for Andrew to feel ostracized. It's not like this episode scared you off the series, so it's all right.

Another hit, Emcee! Way to go. Getting better and better. I love this break away ep so soon. The banter between Connor and Salome when they were fighting over Tucker was hilarious! And you've captured Lorne's voice so well. The one thing I hadn't remembered from the series was prom dog Tucker was Andrew's bro. That was cool to relive too. Also love the open ending, can't wait for ep 7.
