There have been many times I came really close to starting this thread. I finally just decided to do it.

Is anyone here into poker or card games in general? My friends and I used to hold a poker night every two weeks or so. Now it's down to once every few months. For some reason I never got into playing online regularly, though the couple times I have done it I had fun.

I'll play pretty much any game, but my favorites are Texas Hold 'em and Razz. I also had a stretch where I played Rummy a lot, but I haven't played that in a couple years and I think I forgot how.

I could go on for a while, but I think I'll wait to see if anyone is interested in this topic first.

If I ever get to the point where I can waste $10,000 I'm definitely going to sign up for the WSoP Main Event. It'll be worth it, even when I go out in 20 minutes.

Haha. That reminded me of the guy last year who was eliminated on his first hand. Man, did he get a raw deal. If I remember right though he's a fairly successful actor so at least he shouldn't have had to worry a whole lot about the money loss.
