At Caritas, Lorne recounts the story of how Connor and his friends tried to reverse Cyvus Vail's spell and his decision in how involved he should be in fighting evil.

I can't remember the name of the Angel episode, but this episode of The Nyazian Prophecies that was based off that Angel episode reminded me entirly of that episode (if that made any sense). When Connor said he had things to tell Salome, did that mean he was going to tell her his life story? Everything he hasn't wanted to tell her? I hope that whatever Salome is hiding isn't too bad and won't be make anyone angry once revealed. Clem in an episode of Buffy once said that he could stand people with tight skin (humans), so Sophie's relationship with him was suprising to me. Is it going to be explained as to why Clem changed his mind or maybe how they got together. Loved the episode. Hope to see episode thirteen soon.

This episode is meant to be sort of a sequel to "Spin the Bottle". So it was supposed to remind you of it.
Connor had to tell Salome pretty much everything that's been bothering him.
I would say something about Salome's secrets, but I'm afraid it would just give too much away.
Clem has no problem with people with tight skin. He was just riling Spike up because he was cheating at poker. I would like to explain more about how Clem and Sophie hooked up, because I think they're really cute together.
Glad you enjoyed.

How that spell went wrong was a very ironic (I hope I'm using that word right, I can't tell anymore). I like how it ended up helping Jaime understand Wesley's situation better.
Connor talking to Wesley about the events of Season 3 was going to go in the "What would you like to happen" topic so I was glad to see Connor discuss it some. Now we need to see Wesley chime in (I hope he feels the need to do so at some point).
Hey, Connor and Salome finally get to behave as a regular couple! Connor getting shy was very amusing. I'm thinking one of these nights she's just gonna jump him in the middle of a patrol.
I'm also starting to think that Andrew's only going to find out about their relationship when they reveal it to him on his death bed. Yep, at 87 years old his last words will end up being, "I knew something was up with you two!" or something like that.
Out of nowhere I just got the urge to see Salome and Jaime discuss embarrassing Connor stories. Don't even know where that came from. Maybe I was trying to think of something they could talk about that wouldn't remind Jaime of how much his life has drastically changed. Or maybe I'm ready to do another fanfic. I don't know.
I'm completely lost on how the remaining Nyazians all relate to each other... besides the relationships we know. I thought I had an idea but I went back and re-read old conversations and... I came to the conclusion that I'm better off just waiting for the plot to unfold.
Overall, I thought the episode was very good. I think I do have to say though, just like with Spin the Bottle, I'm not a fan of the Lorne narration, despite a couple amusing comments. It's just not my thing apparently.
Okay, I'll explain a little so that at least everyone knows where I'm coming from.
Besides Lorne's quick comments taking me out of the action, I have other issues with this story telling style. One example is when Lorne tells us that Connor isn't going to class. Soon after, we find out that same thing through the conversation between Connor and his friend. I always like it better when things are shown, like through that quick conversation, rather than plainly told. And whenever I see Lorne just doing a lot of telling... I find myself wishing that his head ends up in the Pacific.
The series has done a good job of showing us thoughts/feelings/actions to this point through character interaction so I'm kind of disappointed in just being told by a narrator. To be fair, the not going to class thing was really the only detail Lorne revealed that we couldn't have at least guessed on previously, I think.
I have other issues, like with Lorne commenting on conversations he wasn't around for, but from the comments here and in the LJ community I understand the style choice and I also realize I may be in the minority with how I feel. Something I'll have to live with, I guess.
Oh, and I'd like to thank everyone for marking spoilers in the Connor topic. While I am very curious to find out exactly what'll happen if/when Vail dies, I'm determined to wait until it actually unfolds. We'll see if I have the willpower to see stay away from spoilers. My money's on "no, I don't."

We will get some conversation on the events of S3 from Wesley's POV. There is a Wesley-centric episode a bit later which should contain that.
Seeing Connor and Salome as a regular couple is why I think they're different than Buffy and Angel. They DO function as a normal couple, which I never saw with B/A. C/S were brought together by common interest (albeit strange common interests) and a sexual attraction to each other, which is pretty normal. Their relationship doesn't hinge on misery.
HA! Poor Andrew. He'll have to find out someday. Of course, when he's 87 DOES count as "some day".
I think Salome and Jamie discussing embarassing Connor stories would make a good fanfic. I personally can't think of any embarassing Connor stories off hand, so I think you should do it.
I know I'm usually pretty open about my storylines, but... I'm not going to say one single spoilery thing on the Nyazians. We know Meerna is Salome's aunt and that Cyvus is Azriel's great (x10) grandfather, but that's all you get. I'm looking forward to it coming out in the story.
Despite Lorne's narration, you seem to have enjoyed the episode, so I'm happy. I can't please everyone. I knew if I was bringing Lorne into the story, I had to do a Lorne-centric episode and I felt the only way to really express him was through narration. But you're entitled to your opinion and I respect it. You have good reasons for not liking it.

I actually am in the mood to write something, but I think I have writers block. I was close to posting a topic, somewhere, begging for ideas. You should see what that Connor/Salome 'date' story turned into. Well, maybe you will if I can't think of anything better. *shudders*
Just for the heck of it, here's a little sample of how my mind is working right now regarding this. I've been wondering if a fifth character (or maybe another race) fits into the scenario. All the possibilities that I've come up with that just involve the four seem way too simple to me. I should point out that I thought the same way about Wesley and Vail too ("Oh, that's too obvious. It can't be him.") until the reveal actually occurred.
I don't expect any response to that, and I don't really want one. I just thought that maybe some small amusement could be gained from a glimpse into my thought process.

Okay, you shouldn't say stuff like that unless you want me to get insanely curious.

Well, I have decided to try and finish it. This story will be ridiculously different from my original plan way back when. I blame Andrew and Connor for that. Idiots, the both of 'em I tell ya.

Another great ep! And nice and low key after the action of the trilogy, nice contrast. I really liked the narration idea too, I could picture like a screen or something against the velvet curtains behind Lorne, like his audience was actually picturing what he was telling. I laughed out loud when Wesley started singing Help too, that would definitely be something to see! Can't believe I'm half way through!
