well he was too into cookie-dough at the time, i'd imagine theres to big a risk to have both your soul-mate AND faithy at once
which reminds me, why didn't angel lose his soul when connor was a baby, it did seem like giggly! angel was perfecting his happiness

There are a lot of theories that Angel is incapable of losing his soul now (except for a big, complicated spell) because he's AWARE he can lose his soul, so it's always in the back of his mind and he can never reach perfect happiness.

About the "Butterfly" ep.: I thought Jamie and Mandy had chemistry together and although I wasn't a big fan before, I have no problem whatsoever with a Jamie-Mandy ship. After all, it would be nice if Jamie caught a break for once. I hope Mandy sticks around for a little while.

I was *wondering* when someone was going to comment on the Jamie/Mandy bits of "Butterfly".
Jamie may be catching more than a break....

I love that Connor and Salome are back. As for Mandy, it was either Jamie/Mandy or Andrew/Mandy and oddly enough I can see both of those.

Crawford and Lorne? Really?
Love the idea of Mandy/Salome. Hate Sex is hot.

Yes, I imagine crawford/lorne singing many romantic duets

It is hard for me to stomach Crawford/Lorne and not just because I am a guy. For me there has to be a basis on the show to make unconventional relationships work. For example, Buffy/Faith=Faith drawing a heart on the window to get Buffy to skip class to spend time with her. The only scene their has been a basis on for this pairing is where Lorne knows Crawford's secret but doesn't have time to talk to him about it. However, that scene doesn't make it work for me. The rest of the pairings do work. Salome/Mandy have had enough fights that you could say sexual tension. And while their hasn't been a scene like that for Matty/Connor I can see one being developed easier than Crawford/Lorne.

Very logical, Buffy Fan. But most shipping has no logic (look at the number of people who ship Connor/Dawn and those two were never even on the same show).

But at the same time they have enough in common that their ship works.
Spike/Xander however never did. Ever.

xander/spike works for stuff like "yeah, you're a nummy treat"
and crawford and lorne are the first characters that came to mind when i was thinking about ships that'd never be written about
