I hope it keeps going well, because I really want the movie and then season 2 to get under way as I stated in the Live Journal.
I also stated in the Live Journal my favorite quotes, but truthfully I like all of them.
As for the main cast list; I haven't been a fan of Giles since The Musical episode. I understood why he had to leave, but to come back only to leave and come back over and over and then to tell Buffy in season seven (in Lies My Parents Told Me) "You need to learn..." after specifically saying to her in season six (in Tabula Rasa) "I've taught you all you need to know," really pissed me off. Not to mention trying to kill Spike because he disliked him and telling Buffy it was because it, "was how wars are won." Bullshit! Buffy may have forgiven him I never did.
I'm curious as to how Riley will fit in. Although I hated him for pretty much the same reasons 90% all Buffy fans did. He was Boring. It doesn't mean I'm not curious though. I loved Oz, but again how is it he is going to fit into the story.
The Groosalugg was also a character I was never fond ofg but it was because at the time I was rooting for Angel and Cordelia as a couple. I'll be curious as to how he takes the news of Cordelia's death and Connor's transformation.
David Nabbit was always a Andrewlike character for me only even more anoying. I can actuall picture many ways for him to show up. Even some where he will fight.

I didn't mean to post the last thread without posting this part with it, but I didn't want to delete what had taken me a long time to type so...
At first I was all like kill someone from the main cast, ARE YOU NUTS!!!!!
But then I thought if it is the right person GREAT!!!!!
Not Buffy, Willow, Giles (even though I dislike him at the moment), Spike, Dawn, Angel, Wesley, Illyria or Harmony.
In other words I am hoping for either Xander because I have hated that bastard ever since the episode Becoming Part 1, or Gunn because I personally don't like him as much as all the other characters. Although if I did have a third choice it would be Giles because he has slowly been outliving his usefulness whether people ant to realize that or not.

The movie is going very well and I already have parts of several S2 episodes done (not a whole one, but bits of several). The movie will definitely come before S2, as I realized that while you don't HAVE to read the movie to get S2, some plot points for the movie are going to be given away and I like to keep just a bit of surprise.
I'm glad you liked the quotes. Those were some of my favourites (at least, my favourites that could be giving without spoiling anything major).
As for the characters... Some of them have very small, almost cameo-like parts (I will admit, Oz has only a cameo role, mostly because he is the first Buffyverse alum who will guest in S2 of TNP and I don't want to spoil that too much by having him in the movie a lot). Riley's role is interesting, as *I* didn't like him a lot initially, but I've grown to appreciate him more as the years have past and I have rewatched his eps.
The Groosalugg comes in because I needed someone to come help with the rescuing who was really capable of rescuing. Once you take Buffy, Angel, Connor, Spike, Faith, Willow and Illyria out of the equation, you notice there actually AREN'T a lot of people who can really hold their own in a fight. You're really only left with Gunn and Salome as people who would be defined as "heavy hitters".
I'm fond of both David Nabbit and the actor who played him, so I was happy to bring him back. I've actually made mention in TNP as to what his role is.

From reading the Quotes so far, the movie seems to becoming a long great!! The interaction between the characters are funny, colorfull, in character and make me want the movie come out real soon! So job well done so far!
And as for killing of one of the main characters is a 'good' choice, because I don't think it would be very realistic outerwise. If there up against 7 big villains it would seem more realistic if atleast one of the good guys also dies. And since I know it will not be Connor and probably also not Angel, I wil live ^^!! (altough I do now wonder who it's going to be?!)

The second draft is all type up and off to Pablo. We're getting quite close to having the movie out.
