Frankly she's not that good an opponent, and she's especially not a good replacement for lilah (which you know she was intended for that, one femme fatal dead, bring in another)

After all, the only reason she was introduced was probably to brng Lindsey back into the picture. As for her fate, Lorne predicted a very bad fate for her. Maybe that fate is a result of her failure...? I really don't know, I'm just guessing.

Joss Whedon made one thing clear to the WB when he started BtVS and it was that BtVS was a show with different types of people or in other words different personalities. They weren't going to act like Dawson's Creek. Ugh! Can you imagine that crap. Anyway the point is they brought the character of Eve in because she WASN'T Lilah and I personally applaud them for it. Just remember not everyone loved Connor either, and yet if Emcee hadn't we would have The Nyazian Prophecies. I personally thought Eve was great. Was she or wasn't she evil. Tell me was it just me that was that easy to fool or was it really a surprise? That's what this should really be about.
As for Eve after BoTC, personally I think she is still intent on revenge. Pure, plain and simple.

Actually, now that I think about it, Eve may still be intent on revenge but her rage is probably focused on Angel and may not come after Connor and friends. Of course, the only way to really hurt Angel is by harming Connor. Eve probably knows this and will try to come after Connor again. So forget what I said about Eve not coming after Connor. Still, I'm sure the writers had Lindsey's reappearance in mind when they were introducing Eve to Angel the series.

well I think that Lindsey was fighting the good fight at the end of season 5, so I think he's with the powers in their heaven dimension now

Somehow, I doubt it.

****Spoiler Alert****Any plans for Eve to return? I know I asked this but this time, I don't really care if she returns. At the most, I'd only want her to appear once only in future TNP episodes.

Personally, I think one appearance by Eve--and only one--was necessary for TNP.

I've actually been tempted to have Eve appear again since I found out Sarah Thompson married Caleb Kane (Tucker). Dunno if I'll actually DO it, but it has been in the back of my mind.

I just got an idea about something that could happen in the future: Eve could enlist the services of Rachel, the "Slayer" employed by Wolfram and Hart in Battle of the Champions, in breaking Jamie's father, Mr. Black, out of prison as part of her plan for revenge against Connor and his friends. Clever story idea, if I say so myself.
