I think I have some idea who the Gatekeeper might be, but I'm not going to say since it should be obvious from the little hints given in the "Tempus fugit" episode. Can't wait till we discover the Gatekeeper's identity!

At first I didn't read the part where Connor saw that the Gatekeeper wasn't actually Salome, when I went back and read it again the clues were pretty interesting, although the fun for me is speculation of any other possibility (no matter how far fetched). One of the theories is the reason Crawford is acting strange is because he knows Oni will eventually become the next Gatekeeper. The other main one is Clem's girlfriend, but I don't have any basis behind that one.

Just to torture you guys, I thought I'd throw this in:
Salome has FIVE siblings, while only FOUR were mentioned to have perished in the Nyazian Massacre.

Just thought I'd point it out. Salome mentioned in season one that she has five brothers and sisters, but only ever named Kitra, Kaleb, Samara and Sivan as dying in the massacre.
SPOILERS
* * * * * * * * * * * *
In Season Three, the fate of Salome's fifth sibling will be revealed. Salome is unsure because they were banished from the clan before the massacre.

I like the idea of her fifth sibling being The Gatekeeper. What I am curious about now is what that fifth sister's name is.

Who said the fifth sibling was a girl? For that matter, who said the Gatekeeper was even a girl? Nyazians have been known to hide their real form.

Didn't even think of that.
Just to assure everyone, Salome is 100% woman.

I hope so otherwise my fantasies are gone and she'll have much explaining to do to Connor.

Seriously, though, I think the Gatekeeper is related to both Connor and Salome (I think you all know what I mean).

Who said the fifth sibling was a girl? For that matter, who said the Gatekeeper was even a girl? Nyazians have been known to hide their real form. Well, the fifth sibling isn't/wasn't a girl - it says on Salome's profile thingummy that the fifth sibling whose fate has not yet been revealed was a brother called Elijah. So even if the Gatekeeper is one of the Carr siblings in disguise, it's definitely not Salome's siter I'm just gonna come out and say what everyone else has been getting at. I'm of the school of thought, like many others (guess that's why they call it a school ), that the Gatekeeper is Salome and Connor's daughter (yes, I'm assuming she's not hiding her form). As people have pointed out before, the hints in the episode strongly point to this, notably the one where Connor said that the Gatekeeper felt important to him. I know he loves Salome, but I'm sure her brother wouldn't be THAT important to him And if she IS their daughter...so much for mongrel half breeds, eh? ;D

Yeah, "siter" should be "sister" y'know, spelling errors really make a comment lose its gravitas

Eep! I didn't realize I had updated the character guide!
Yeah, Salome's fifth sibling is a brother names Elijah.
