I'm working on a concept for a virtual series of my own. But I'm pretty new to the Buffyverse, so I was wondering if there's any kind of online encyclopedia of Buffyverse people, things, etc., not just episodes. Thanks.

I don't want to deter you from writing your own VS, but I feel I should warn you it's a VERY tough process. I've been working steadily on TNP for the past eight months and there have been a few times that I thought my head would explode! And there's nothing worse than starting a series and realizing you can't finish out the season. There are some good Buffyverse Encyclopaedias. The one I most commonly use is All Things Philosophical. But that's not a straight Encyclopaedia. I've been working on my own, but that got pushed to the wayside with my dedication to the Prophecies.

One of the first places I go to for information is Wikipedia and I see that they have a Buffyverse section. Just glancing at it now, I can't say for sure that it'll help you, but it might be worth it to take a few minutes to check it out to see if it's the kind of thing you're looking for. I've used All Things Philosophical too and I'll give it another vote.

I want to thank everyone for their helping me with certain things even though I wasn't the one who asked about the demon guide.

Thanks for all the help! Good resources even though the characters in my series aren't cooporating and it is quickly spinning off out of the Buffyverse and into its own world...
