Anyone else find it sad that cordies last act ends up getting all her friends killed?
if "the apocalypse" is just humanities inhumaneness to others, what kind of role did angel play? (seems like the key to shanshu is just lend a helping hand)
if Doyle didn't pass the visions, what kind of reaction do you think he'd have to groosalug cumshuck?
could jasmine use doyle for her plans for birth? after all, we don't know everything about brachens

We don't exactly know if Angel and his friends actually died. Sure, Wesley did, but we don't know about Angel, Spike, Illyria and Gunn. According to TNP, they DID survive (including Wes, obviously). I also understand that there's an Angel comic set after NFA that is out or will be coming out that reveals that everyone but Wesley survived.
I'm not really sure I've ever really understood the Apocalypse Lindsay was suggesting. I think he just meant that the Apocalypse was already in motion, demons plotting against the humans, but the humans were too self-involved to care about it.
I think, being part-demon naturally, Doyle would have kept the visions.
Since Doyle was killed, I think he certainly could not have been used in Jasmine's plan. She set things up so they could be most advantageous to her. So I think she arranged it that he would die.

I don't blame Cordelia. It was Angel's plan. He could have done something different and the characters all had free agency not to do it, but as long as Xandrew is oddly and strangely thinking like I usually do, no I don't find it sad because the hole point of being a member of Angel's gang is fighting no matter what and until the end. That is why Joss Whedon left the series finale the way he did.
