This thread is for other television shows. Anything besides Buffy or Angel. Any of them you want to talk about that are still on the air or aren't on the air anymore.

I don't know how many of you watch as much television as I do, but I've been addicted since practically the day I was born.
My favorite shows are Buffy, Angel, Firefly, (Of course with these three; But as for now:) Prison Break, Bones, Charmed, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, occasionally One Tree Hill, Supernatural, Smallville, The O.C., Alias, (Although since Vaughn died on Alias that show has been harder to watch, not to mention it is on at the same time as both Smallville and The O.C.) occasionally The Apprentice, E.R., and occasionally Ghost Whisperer.
Out of all of the ones listed the best three are: Prison Break because of how detailed it is and how an article said once they break out it will still have storylines, Bones because it has Buffy and Angel star David Boreanaz in it and Charmed because I like show where girls kick ass and Supernatural shows.

Anybody here watch 24? My anticipation for Day Five has skyrocketed now that it's less than a week away.
Of course, I have no clue what the season is about, who’s been added/removed from the cast, or anything. I’ve even gone so far this year to shut off any commercials I see for the show just in case they reveal something I didn’t want to know.

I watch it. Surprise huh. After I posted the previous thread I realized there were still a few shows that I hadn't put up there.
If you don't want to know I won't tell you but I should caution you to be careful that I know the basics (except the fact that there will obviously be surpises because hello it's 24) and about 90 to 95% of my information was just stumbled across when I was on the internet.

I'd rather not know any details that haven't been in an aired episode, but if I were to be spoiled on something, it won't kill me. Once I start discussing the show with people it's inevitable that I'll find out things I haven't heard about yet.

So overall that was a pretty good start to the day. Definitely better than the last two seasons. Now it'll kind of suck only having one episode a week after having four so close together.
Best line of the season so far: "The only reason you're still conscious is because I don't want to carry you." I still would have broken the kid's nose or something, but after that moment Derek became much more tolerable. That stunt he pulled at the end of hour two was fairly idiotic though, especially since he could have used his mom's phone.
Worst moment: Jack hiding out in southern California. What? I realize that the plot needed him to be close to LA, the capital of the 24 world, but I dunno. I had this (perhaps unrealistic) expectation that the season would be more global since Jack really shouldn't have been anywhere near California when this day started.
Also, no one realizing that "Flank Two Position" was some kind of code was a little ridiculous just because of the way Jack said it. After the third time I was waiting for him to start spelling it.
I've heard some casting/character spoilers. Let's just say that some things sound awesome, others not so much.

SPOILERS ON SEASON FIVE OF THE FIRST FOUR HOURS OF TWENTY-FOUR
On 24:
The first two hours were wonderful. Palmer getting shot surprised the Hell out of me. I almost cried. Same goes for Tony and his wife, although I am still holding out hope for Tony.
I dislike The First Lady even after the fourth hour force, when people think your nuts, is not the way to go about things.
I love how the people who knew Jack was alive (which as of now is only Chloe) trust him completely.
As for the second two hours not as good. My favorite part was actually when Chloe, her would be boyfriend whose name I can't remember and Jack blew up the hostages vest with the cell phone.
I didn't get the code word the first time, but being Jack Bower I knew he had a plan. I was only when he said, "Flank Two Position," the second time that I understood.

I suppose I better note that this post also contains '24' spoilers. I always forget about the "view newest posts" option and not saying something could screw someone up.
I'd trust that Tony will live if he wasn't in the care of CTU's doctors. About two thirds of their patients end up dead. But yeah, that first fifteen minutes came out of nowhere. Palmer and Michelle were two of my favorite characters so I'm sad that they're gone, but it still kicked ass.
The Logans really need less screen time. The President is a jackass. "Don't give me details!" he barks to Buchanan. Then 20 minutes later when Buchanan tries to skip the details: "I want to know everything!" Ugh! That's just one example of him being a douche.
And the First Lady's storyline is annoying. I'm holding out hope that she either stays knocked out the rest of the day or that her jackass husband finally decides to believe her story when she wakes up. Of course, neither will happen so she'll run around for the next 20 hours continuing to look like a nut.
This all just reminded me, what happened to the other President? He didn't die in the crash last year, right? He was just seriously injured. I hope he's okay so someone can find him and drag him back into office.

24 SPOILERS
President Logan proved once again he isn't fit to run the country and Jack Bauer proved that he is the only one who can save the world.
I don't know what to think of Samwise (I don't know the actor or character's name) 24 character.
I loved that Spencer was only being used and it was without his knowledge. I took an instant liking to him and after watching it a second time, it was easier to see that he was being duped. If he wasn't I'd have wanted Jack to kill him because no one and I mean no one hurts Chloe. She's one of my favorite characters.

24 Spoilers
I was holding out hope that there wasn't going to be a CTU mole this year, and I consider it a win that Spencer didn't know he was working with the terrorists. Yeah, they handled that situation better than they have in other seasons.
I was waiting for Tony to get accidently shot in that fight between Jack and the assassin. So this year it looks like a reversal: CTU's patients will survive but the doctors will not.
By the way, I'm glad I'm not Walt Cummings. Jack's going to completely tear him apart.
At this point the writers have to be mocking themselves with this "secure perimeter" crap. There's never been such an oxymoron. It's good to see that the Secret Service is just as bad as everyone else at keeping someone contained. Which brings me to...
Run, First Lady, run! Preferably far away from my TV screen. I'm so sick of her storyline that even gratuitous cleavage shots aren't helping me warm up to her. Although it's not just her, everyone involved with it needs to go.
Unrelated to 24, FOX needs to stop moving their shows around. You'd think they'd eventually learn that it's one reason some of their better shows didn't get ratings: a lot of people didn't know when they were on.

I don't know about Lost. That show got a bit too weird for me a while ago, but Veronica Mars is also on Saturday afternoons and sometimes Wednesdays 10:00pm
